The gentle first light of dawn caressed her weary face, as she reluctantly emerged from the depths of sleep. The weighty burden of the previous night's conversation with her father clung to her heart, casting shadows upon the new day before her. As she stepped into the gloomy stillness of her room, a sense of solemnity enveloped her being, as if her soul too had awoken to bear witness to this internal struggle.
Last night, as the silence between both her and her father was stripped away by courageous honesty, the words they exchanged reverberated in the chambers of her heart, resonating with unspoken emotions and deep-rooted pain. Their evening dialogue became an intense plan of her future, punctuated by poignant moments of reckoning and unfulfilled expectations. She could no longer deny the discomfort that had woven its way through their interactions over past hours. Layers of resentment and misunderstanding had accumulated, reaching a boiling point, demanding acknowledgment and resolution. Yet, the truth she sought seemed elusive, buried beneath layers of guarded emotions and unspoken pain.
The somber thoughts swirled in her mind as she treaded lightly towards the kitchen, seeking solace in the familiarity of brewing coffee. The rhythmic drip echoed her own heartbeats, a reminder that life persists even in moments of despair. Its aroma gently infused the air, awakening her senses and coaxing a glimmer of hope into her heavy heart.
As she took the first sip, warm tendrils of bitterness mingled with the bittersweet remembrance of the night before. Her mind wandered, attempting to dissect the essence of their conversation, desperately searching for a solution to cease his demand, she even begged for her sister to take over, but none of her words seemed to be heard. In this solemn hour, her father's tone when he spoke about the file and the envelope, was full of sadness. He didn't wish that everything would be rushed this fast, but circumstances always finds it's way within their lives.
While the morning light streamed through the window, casting a hopeful glow upon the room, the heaviness in her heart remained unyielding. But, within this gloom, she found a flicker of chance. She realized that this bitter realization might be an opportunity, to grow and chase her dream. True she had a different approach towards what she had planned for, but since she will be in charge of everything, she can facilitate the creation of her AI through the various companies that her father owns. And when she succeeds on perfecting her creation, she will implant it as the heart of the rest of the empire. With such control, she can stop any threats that might harm her.
-At last, her expressions changed dramatically after reaching to such solution. With a smile she began to plan on what to do next. She delved deep into her mind, creating endless possibilities for her future. She fantasized how she will manage the company, what she will call her AI, who she will hire to work for her, how the rest of the world we react with her creation, who she will meet, who will fight for a chance or a possible cooperation. All of those thoughts made her mind swirl like a hurricane, until suddenly an image flashed within her eyes. "Rebecca" she whispered, as her heart skipped a beat "why..my heart react this way..why I fe-"
-She was interrupted by someone who was pulling her pyjamas. She startled and turned her face, as she was frightened of what she will see. "A-auntie Freen" she yawned, while rubbing her eyes "I missed you" Freen couldn't help but to giggle, the moment her eyes laid on her niece. She bend to carry her, and placed her on the counter. "morning my only favourite niece!" she smiled "I've missed you too...why are you awake this early!" Anne opened her arms, asking Freen for a hug, in which she obliged and embraced her tightly. "I have school" she said, as she snuggled "I'm a student like you" Freen stroked her hair, as they both kept embracing for awhile.
-Regardless of such warm moment, Freen had to pull away before she on the other hand fall asleep. "come on Anne..both of us need to prepare ourselves before we get late" she said, as she carried her. "were is your mommy?" Anne sighed and pointed at the room. "she is there..snoring" she pouted and hugged Freen again. Freen smirked, as she walks towards her room. "how about we wake her up?" she laughed "she has work as well..and it is not fare for us to suffer with classes, and your mother is on her seventh dream" Anne frowned, and pulled away looking at her fearfully. "b-but..mommy will be angry at us" she fretted "I-I don't want her to shout at me"
