As dusk approached, the last embers of sunlight dwindled, casting elongated shadows that danced across the polished floor of the office. Nita remained at her desk, surrounded by a myriad of papers, tablets and blinking screens. The atmosphere of the floor was thick, laden with a palpable sense of discomfort. It was as if the fading light was not merely a transition from day to night, but a harbinger of uncertainties yet to be revealed.

Nita has always prided herself on her meticulous nature and her ability to manage the hectic demands of her role. But today was different. Her usual resolve was being tested. Freen's sudden decision to leave was eating her mind out. She knew Freen so well, that she doesn't skip a day of work. However, she tried to brush this thought off, by convincing herself that she might truly want to spend some time with Rebecca.

-Across her desk, Nam and Kade exchanged worried glances. The quiet ticking of the clock seemed to amplify their anxiety. Kade, after so much pressure, she leaned forward in her chair. "Nita, have you heard from Freen?" Her voice, though low, echoed with a hint of urgency. Nita shook her head, her fingers trembling ever so slightly as she adjusted her glasses. "No, she hasn't replied to my messages and calls. Maybe she's busy or something"

-Nam chuckled, while resting her head on the couch. "Busy to get Rebecca pregnant. I bet they have been having sex all night, like rabbits. Then they continued on their journey today, until they fell asleep". Kade sighed as she tried to inject some levity into the growing tension. "Yeah. Nam might be right about that. Besides, Freen needs some time off. It's been awhile since she had a proper break from work". However, her attempts to lighten the mood fell flat. The worry etched on Nita's face made it clear that the very notion was dismissed before it could settle.

-Some moments later, and with each tick of the clock, the dimming light intensifies their anxiety, not until Tee has just arrived in the office. "Yoo. Why the heck are you so worried?" Nam shrugged and replied. "I'm not worried. Nita is just overthinking as usual". Tee turned around and looked at Nita, whose eyes were focused on the screen. "Mommy. Don't worry! She's not going to disappear or something! So relax guys! She needs it". Nita sighed as she lowered her glasses. "I'm not overthinking. It's just I feel uncomfortable about this sudden decision! Freen always plan ahead! So what had happened?"

-Kade perplexed and speculated. "Maybe she planned it out of the blue? Just relax guys sh-". Suddenly Heng entered the floor with millions of questions on his face. Nam frowned and snapped her fingers to get his attention. "Big head! What's the matter?". He ran his fingers through his hair and replied. "I feel uneasy. The guards told me that Freen left her house alone. She was in rush, so I'm just waiting for her to return home" Nita slammed her hand and exclaimed. "Told you! Something is fishy!"

-Nam sighed as she shook her head. "Okay! Ask BETA! I mean she's gonna answer us..right?" Nita shook her head and pointed at the camera. "BETA! Where's Freen?". Some seconds later she didn't respond, which made the rest to look at each other in wonder. "Okay??..umm, shall I call Irin?" Tee suggested, but Kade shook her head. As she was about to answer, suddenly the elevator door was shut along with the rest of the doors. Isolating them in Nita's office. "Attention everyone" BETA announced. "Protocol Lambda has initiated. Please follow the instructions and gather in front of Nita's screen"
