She woke up in the morning with a sense of anticipation, her heart filled with warmth and happiness after reading the birthday card she had received from her. As she lay in bed, the words that has been written echoed in her mind, filling her with a renewed sense of hope and excitement for the day ahead. The card had arrived at the end of the previous day, a simple yet elegant piece that spoke volumes to her. The words, carefully chosen and written, conveyed a sense of deep understanding and connection. As she read through the heartfelt message, she felt a surge of gratitude and love, knowing that she was cherished and appreciated.

As she slowly crawled out from her warm bed, she made her way straight towards the vast window. Swiftly she feathered the small button, waiting for the curtains to dance away. The moment her eyelids fluttered upon the kiss of the sun, she couldn't contain the warmth that enveloped her heart. After long last, she can say, that she's able to move on. Yet the steps and the uncertainty of the future ahead, is hard to predict, but at least she can brush off the negatives and push forward.

Holding the card tightly, she opened the balcony door, and inhaled the fresh air that touched her face. Her eyes fixated upon the city's skyscrapers, wondering how to set her path forward. Yes she wanted to grasp the revenge that she once promised, yes she wanted to take back everything that has been stolen. But the only question was, how can she accomplish that with nothing within her hands? Millions of questions formed in her mind, as she was hoping that an answer would be found. However, each time she carve out a path, her shattered reality pulls her back.

She shook her head, after a long moment of thinking. She brushed off everything and focused on selling her house and try to survive until she figures out what to do next. With a deep breath, she read the card again. Her fingers traveled across the digitalized numbers, as if she was making sure she read it correctly. Her smile grew wider at every word, she closed her eyes, while her mind manifested Rebecca's voice, causing her heart to pound against her rib-cage. Such burst of emotions made her body shiver in joy. She wished that such moment would stuck forever, but reality always finds its way towards her heart.

Then she tilted her head, and glanced at the city again, enjoying the view once more. It took her a while before she decided that she has to progress through the day, and give Heng a call regarding the sell. She returned back and placed the card inside the cupboard, and went into the restroom to take a shower. After a long warm shower, she wore her clothes and made her way towards the kitchen. The house was empty, as silence devoured every corner, along side the chilliness that touched her body, such feelings will never fade away.

Regardless of what she felt, this time around she has to push herself, she has to fight back. But since her friends this time around, rushed towards their respective houses early in the morning. In which she insisted that they had to meet their parents, as It's been awhile since they had a proper family gathering. The moment she sat down at the counter stool, she rested her head on her hand, as her eyes glanced at the oven on the right. Her brown pupils dilated, traveling through the passage of time, reaching to the memory that she will never forget.

-As a small smile formed on her lips, her memory began to grip on her soul as if she was able to manifest her past self. It was a hell of a day, she always said, looking at herself stained in flour and cream. It was Song's birthday and she wanted to bake a cake for her, and make it special. However, according to how desperate she was, it wasn't a pleasant experience. As she was glancing on the pad every few seconds, her desperate groans filled the kitchen, as this was her fifth attempt to fix the cake ratio. "Okay! So I added those stupid eggs for the billionth time! Added some..umm..oil and water...and..and...wait what did I miss?" she wondered, while looking at the bowl. Her brows suddenly furrowed the moment she realized that she didn't add the flour.
