Let me begin by telling you that I am grateful for your time and dedication to walk with me on this journey. My apologies first of all if the last chapter was longer than usual, but I wanted to make sure that I covered both sides. Now before I delve further, I know some of you may not be pleased with this ending, I know some of you might hate me on this, but would you all believe that the ending of this story has already been written?
The first chapter. "To You, Couple Years Ago" was Freen telling BETA her story, in which how she lived in the past without her, and how both of them reached to this point, and continued together. I know some of you will ask, how did Freen knew about Rebecca's perspective, and my answer to you is...BETA has already read her diary, and she can be sneaky sneaky and eavesdrop like a kitty cat, so both at this point recording these memories together. And if you all noticed, you will know that Freen lived the past and saw the end.
Some of you now will be devastated, as you wanted a happy ending. I know someone who always tells me, these stories helped us to escape our reality, so we want to be at least somehow, to live in a fantasy that would make us smile. And my ironic answer to that person was, not every story, a Cinderella story. But, now I chose to change my answer. I will grant you the wish of a happy ending, and that will only happen in a second book.
There are a lot of unanswered questions about certain characters in this book. Such as; Freen's uncle, Rebecca's stepmother, and whether or not Freen will find the truth about her family's demise. Rebecca and Freen's child. Whether they will find each other again or not. So I intended to conceal this, as throughout the second half of this book, I decided to have a sequel.
Lastly, I wanted to share some things about the character's development. I know you hated Rebecca, and maybe Freen's blindness towards her, even though she knew her background already. But would you all once more believe that these two characters, were actually in my reality? I mean not to the extent of physical torture, nor criminal behavior and such. But as a characteristics and personality. I had a Rebecca in my life. And..well I wanted to share what I experienced with you all. It was..a hard, tough and painful experience. Mentally I was tormented, physically exhausted, but here I am 🥰
It wasn't a fairy tale happy ending between us. Cause I couldn't, I was beyond tired and extremely drained, so my only option was, to end it. I had to walk away, I had to choose myself above all, otherwise I'll never heal nor will move forward. You would tell me that why you chose such person and such. And my answer to you all is that none of us can control those who enter our lives. Our doors will always be open for endless possibilities, and then again we choose who we guide towards our exit or towards the next step. To be honest, I wasn't sure if I would share my story, but I didn't want you to hate these characters, especially Rebecca.
So now before I leave, I just want to extend my deepest gratitude for all of you. Those who commented thank you. Thank you for all of your words that made my day 🩵. Those who remained silent, thank you for reading my story. You all mean a lot to me, even though we don't know each other 🩵. Sorry for any grammatical errors, English isn't my first language 😞. Sorry if this story took so long, I just wanted to convey my ideas and how all things connected. Sorry if I was inconsistent with my schedule. Trust me my day is always busy, I barely have time just to sit down and relax. I am trying my hardest to publish with the shortest time possible, but time always gets harder.
One last small thing for you all, here is the cover of the sequel. I don't have a specific date for release, as I need to brainstorm it. Another story will be released as well, I shared with you the cover previously. So I am debating whether to release them both and try to update when possible or just focus on one. So I will see what I can do.
