Freen awoke before the sun had a chance to pierce through the horizon, the predawn darkness wrapping around her like a heavy cloak. The stillness of the early morning was both a solace and a harbinger of impending chaos. She lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, the weight of her thoughts a burden she could neither escape nor ignore. In a mere matter of hours, she would face a love that had turned betrayal, a love that would culminate in a decision that could shatter her very essence.

Rebecca, stirred beside her, oblivious to the turmoil brewing within Freen's heart. The soft rise and fall of Rebecca breath was a cruel reminder of the life they had built together, a life that had begun anew in the vibrant hues of love and joy, as today, such life will slowly soured like milk left too long in the sun. Freen loves Rebecca unconditionally, she can't deny nor escape this fact at all, no matter how much she was convincing herself otherwise. Her love grown every single day, she sees her as everything she wants. She cares, she's gentle, and she's always there to comfort her.

-Despite her past, which was a bit more difficult for Freen to accept. That didn't shake her love for her at all. As she tilted her head to the side, she glanced at her lover, sleeping so peacefully next to her. Slowly she reached her cheek, caressing her gently, as she knew that this will be the last time she will ever touch her. As her hand traveled slowly on her face, the tears began pouring down her cheeks. She bit her lips trying not make a sound, as she leaned forward and embraced her head. "I'm sorry. I am so sorry" she whispered "before I leave you alone, I just wanted to say that I am grateful for your love. I am thankful for your kindness and time, and glad that fate made us meet. I will cherish this memories forever, as I promise you that whatever you do today, will never change my love for you. I love you...princess"

The plans for this day lurked once more in the recesses of her mind, waiting to unfurl their dark wings. Freen throat dried like a desert, but she doesn't want to lose her precious little time she has. The thought of Elizabeth killing her own husband, just for money sent chills down Freen's spine, and how ironic that this is all for money, which made her think about her uncle who was greedy as well. Regardless, whether he dies tonight or not, his fate will be decided in the future by his enemies. And such vendetta will be carried on to Rebecca as this situation will never end until his dynasty ends.

-Freen cannot afford to lose her, and cannot afford to enter into this mess as she knew that she will be fighting a hydra that will never die. As daylight began to break, Freen slowly moved away from her and sat on the bedside, glancing up at the sky as the sun touched her stained cheeks. "Tonight, Rebecca would become the instrument of an act that could alter the course of my existence. Will I be able to endure this? Or shall I say mom, dad..I'm coming home?". She took a deep breath, while shaking her head and standing up. She covered Rebecca well, as she made her way to prepare.

-She didn't waste her time on choosing a proper attire for the day, why bother she was saying to herself, so she chose a simple outfit and made sure that everything is perfect. She closed the closet, and turned around and walked towards the small safe that she kept between her clothes. She slowly opened it and took a picture that she hid underneath the files. A stream of tears filled her cheeks once more as her hand traced the image of her family. "I'm sorry..I failed you all..now I am paying the consequences for my stupidity..I am paying the price for a promise that I couldn't keep..I promised that I will always keep my eyes open, but that didn't happen..I was blinded, I focused on my future and slipped away from the world..I felt like I am in cloud nine, which is true with her..I am above the stars..but now she will hate me, maybe won't believe me, and..she will leave me for good..forgive me everyone. Forgive me"
