Freen sat at her desk, her knuckles white from gripping the edges with nervous tension. The rays of the sun were finally pouring into her office, casting a glow on her enemy in front. She could hardly focus on her surroundings, she could hardly think correctly. The anticipation of delivering the answer loomed larger with each passing second. Today wasn't expected, today was pivotal. Today, she either solidified her future with the woman she loved or lose everything.

Across her, sat Mrs. Armstrong the architect who orchestrated this unprecedented deal, leaned casually against the table. Her sharp features and calculating gaze belied a cunning ambition. Freen didn't expect this to happen, since she read Rebecca's diary, plus BETA's morning podcast about the rest of her story, she began to understand her. Mrs. Armstrong is a woman who's thriving on pressure and revelled in punishing others to get what she wants. It was a trait that Freen noticed it a little in Rebecca as well.

As the minutes dragged on, Freen's thoughts drifted to Rebecca. They had been together for a while now, they bonded together, they loved each other, despite Rebecca's past. Freen cannot afford to lose her, cannot afford to leave her behind. Selfishness isn't her strong suit, whatever situation she has been through that involved choosing someone who's dear to her, she will always choose them above her own self. Her only option right now is to cooperate, and maybe she'll find a way out of this mess.

-"Freen!" Elizabeth's voice broke through her reverie, sharp and commanding. "I gave you all the time in the world to think! I guess it's more than enough to answer me young lady! So choose, or otherwise I will choose myself!" Freen's heart raced. The pressure was suffocating, but she has to answer right now, otherwise her whole life will end in a blink of an eye. Gathering her strength, Freen looked at her coldly, as she reseted her back against the chair.

"Mrs. Armstrong" Freen began, her voice rising in confidence. "I'm sure you don't need me to answer such a simple question. Because if you do know me well, I will always choose..Rebecca!" Elizabeth held herself from smirking, as she reached out for her purse. She pulled out the cigarette pack and took one of it. "I knew you will choose her by the way. But I had to make sure" she declared, as she light up the cigarette "Now let's talk business Ms. Chankimha. And I want your full attention on this one"

-"I will eliminate my husband. And I want you to take the fall of my actions" Freen frowned and queried sarcastically "excuse me what now? You want me to take all of the blame! For what exactly! Rebecca will kill me next!" Elizabeth signed and blow the cigarette. "I told you to listen Ms. Chankimha. Didn't I?" she snarled "my husband is waisting his fortune on dumb fools. I can't stand still looking at him doing all of that nonsense! I had to stop him! This fortune is mine alone Ms. Chankimha! And I want to have it all. Got it!"

-Freen remained in silence, as she continued. "Since Rebecca is his sole heir, I want to eliminate him before transferring everything to her. I heard him last night mentioning something about this matter and I want to stop him before it's too late." Freen leaned forward and laughed "Mrs. Armstrong. Do you listen to yourself? You are sitting in front of me, telling me that you will kill the father of the person who is important to me, so you can inherit his fortune. Plus! You want me to take the blame! Is this a joke?"

-Elizabeth chuckled and said. "Alright Ms. Chankimha. I guess you are not interested in my proposal. I will leave you now. And just remember to say goodbye to Rebecca. Cause she will be gone sweetheart. Okay?" Freen shook her head and begged "Don't! No!" Elizabeth inhaled, while shaking her head. "Then do as I said Ms. Chankimha! It's simple" Freen gulped and stated. "Rebecca will definitely kill me afterwards. The entire world will know that I am a killer! How do you expect me to act!"
