She woke up in the morning feeling grumpy. The weight of exhaustion and responsibilities burdened her as she reluctantly opened her eyes to greet the new day. The events of the previous night played like a broken record in her mind, reminding her of the late hours spent watching a movie and working diligently on her father's business plans.

As she dragged herself out of bed and made her way to the restroom, the reflection in the mirror revealed the weariness in her eyes. The lack of sleep was evident in the dark circles underneath, a stark contrast to the radiant smile she usually wore. Her mind wandered back to the movie she had watched, its gripping plot and emotional rollercoaster had kept her captivated until the early hours of the morning.

Despite knowing that she should have gone to bed earlier, the allure of the story had been too strong to resist. It reminded her of someone, a person who had made her heart longing to see her again. Scene after scene, a dialogue after another, made her closed her eyes and wished that she'd appear right in front of her, but that was for now a dream to chase.

Moreover, there was her father's business plans. He had enlisted her help in finalizing the details for an upcoming project, and she had dedicated every spare moment to ensure its success. The weight of responsibilities had settled heavily on her shoulders, driving her to sacrifice her own risk for the sake of her father. She loves him deeply, and she wanted to make sure that he is pleased, despite of his suspicions actions.

She entered the shower, turned on the warm water and sunk herself beneath it. As much as she wanted to stay, letting the water wash away everything that stuck in her mind, but she had a long day ahead, and she can't afford to waste time. As she left the shower, and wore the robe, she made her way towards the mirrored dresser. As she sat at it, her eyes caught up to the opened diary. A new page was opened, along with the date of today, indicating a new chapter of her life is yet to be written.

Her hands unconsciously turned the pages to the time past. Each page reminded her of how much she had changed, how much she put into herself to get to where she wanted right now. As she flipped through the pages, waiting eagerly for the page that marked her path. Her smile grew wider as she got closer to the page in question, which made her heart fluttering with excitement to reread it again. As soon as she reached the page, she held the diary with both hands, as her eyes were glued to each word.

Rebecca's POV;

It has been a long time since I saw her that day. It was a memorable morning to be honest, and I won't forget that smile of hers. It was carved into my eyes, as each time I had a bad time, that smile was my reason to push myself forward. I remember that I had to stop by and get Irin because we had classes, and my smile was from end to end. She didn't stop teasing me the moment she knew, as it's became a banter between us, but I can't deny the fact that it was a beautiful scenery.

Since I vowed to change, I've committed to that. I wanted to do that for her, and to myself as well. I can't deny that it was extremely difficult to get through this period, but here I am standing proud. Our semesters were filled with great excitement. My bond with Irin, got extremely strong and close, and I made sure that time around, to always involve her in any situation. And let me tell you, her inputs, words and actions were always in place, she was..no she is the shoulder that I leaned on.

My university life was full of surprises and, well actions. For some reason I turned to be the girl who everyone wanted to get. My fame suddenly shifted and I became the girl who was a hard to get. However, there was a leech in our campus, and it was that Cooper girl who she was, a bane of my existence, especially after Freen's graduation. She showed her true colors and began playing the role of she's the best. Of course she'd tried to bully me whenever she got the opportunity, but every move she took, it was backfired on her. Even though she was smart, but there was a part in her mind that seemed like it's not functioning as intended. And it's called idiocy.
