Now He's Lost His Mind

Okay listen to me for a minute, so, I was actually writing the request but when my silly friend ( Sitting1and2crying) said he wanted smut/angst you know as a writer I had to give my silly friend what he wants :( so I wrote this angst story and it was way too good to not post so I decided to let yall have it while I work on the request!! Keep in mind writersblock is fucking me in the ass rn so it's not the best but atleast yall have smth!!

Moon was sitting in the daycare and cleaned up the arts and crafts table while Sun was cleaning up toys that were all around the daycare.
Sun had felt a little on edge lately so Moon was hesitant about letting Sun clean-up but he was able to do his job normally so Moon figured it was gonna be fine.

Moon was almost finished cleaning as Sun came up to him.
"Moony, do you mind bringing these to Gator Golf? I promised Monty to bring him these but I forgot."
-"Of course I can Sunshine, just let me-"
"Can you do it right now? I already feel bad enough."
-"I will do it in just a minute just let me-"

Sun loudly sighed, slightly pushed Moon away and went towards the doors.
-"S-Sunshine? It's okay ill do it just-"
"No it's fine don't worry about it."

Moon looked towards Sun dumb-founded, Sun has never talked nor acted that way before, usually Moon was having these kinds of mood swings but he figured Sun was just having a bad day.

Moon kept rethinking Suns and his relationship.
He loved Sun more than anything but Sun has been behaving stranger than usual, Moon hated to admit it but it was almost like Sun was an entirely different person.
But Moon couldn't help himself, he loved Sun so much and even a big change in Suns personality wouldn't change that.

Moon was lost in thought so he didn't notice Sun speaking to him until he felt a sharp pain on his cheek.
"A- what?!"
-"Can you finally stop ignoring me?!"
"Oh.. I-I'm sorry Sunshine I didn't-"
-"Yea whatever, can you bring these to the trash?"
"Uhm, sure..."
-"good, and maybe hurry up so you're actually useful for once"
(it's so weird writing Sun being weird ew)
Moon quickly got on his feet and took the trashbag and summoned his wire to bring it outside.

Moon was slowly making his way back to the daycare, he hated to admit it but the more time he spent away from Sun the better.
"Moon...?"
-"Monty! It's so nice to see you again!"
"It is?"
Moon quickly ran over and hugged Monty, who hugged him back tightly.

"Are you okay? I'm sorry if I upset you but I really didn't-"
-"what- what do you mean?"
"Sun told me the reason you stopped talking to me is because I offended you?"
-"Sun... Told ME the reason you stopped talking to me was because YOU were offended by a joke I made?"

Moon and Monty looked at each other, both wearing an unreadable expression.
"So...Sun tried keeping us apart?! Oh that little-"
-"I-It's okay! I-I'll talk to him!"

They talked for another minute or two when Moon quickly made his way back, sure, spending more time away from Sun and finally with Monty again was refreshing but he did want to ask Sun about what he did.

When Moon arrived at the daycare he saw it completely cleaned up and felt a shiver go down his spine.
He heard Sun up in their room so he summoned his wire and got there.

He saw Sun sitting on the ground with a paper and colored pencils.
"H-Hey Sun I-"
-"Oh, look who FINALLY decided he still had work to do. And I thought you could actually be useful but noooo you'd rather stay outside by the trash."
-"I'm sorry but I-"
"You're sorry?! I stayed here and cleaned up the mess YOU were supposed to clean and now you expect me to forgive you so easily?"
