Chapter FIVE

" What's your name? " He asked and crossed his arms.

" You know my name "

" Your full name "

" Madeleine Aurora James, what about you? "

" Emmett Cullen "

" No middle names? "

" No " He said and laughed.

" Favourite animal? "

" Bears and Sloths " I said and sipped more on my coke.

" I like bears too " He said with a gleam in his eye.

" Oh really " I said and laughed.

" Favourite color? "

" Yellow " I said without thinking. Just like your eyes. I thought and blushed slightly hoping I haven't blurted that out.

" These are such basic questions, did you get them off of Google? " I said and laughed.

" Obviously, it's not like it just came up in my head randomly " He answered and laughed as well.

" I sure hope not "

" Okay, last question for tonight! "

" What's your dream vacation? "

" France "

" Why? "

" My grandma is French, so I would like to explore my heritage " I answered truthfully.

" That's really cool "

" Thank you "

" Okay when should we do this next time? " He asked.

" I'm fully booked this weekend so.. " I said and tried to think about what I had planned for next week.

" How about I just get your number and we can plan more later? " He asked and pulled out his phone.

" Sure " I said and grabbed his phone and typed my number into it.

I gave him back his phone and I drank up the last bit of coke I had in my glass. I looked over at Emmett glass of water and saw that he had ent touched it at all. He called the waiter and said we would like to pay. Before I could grab any money he payed for my drink.

" Hey, I could have payed for that " I said

" It's okay " He answered and picked up his stuff. I sighed and did the same thing. We walked outside to our cars.

" I'll see you around Madeleine " Emmett said before jumping into his car.

" Bye Emmett " I said in a small voice as he closed his car door. He drove away as I started my car.

I started my drive home with feelings of confusion and happiness erupting my every thought.

I pulled into the driveway and turned off my car. Thankfully my family weren't home yet, I fished up my phone from my pocket to see the time, 10:40. Good, the opera show hadn't ended yet so I had plenty of time.

I saw that I had gotten a text message from an unknown number.

" Thanks for today, I hope we can get to know each other better soon Madeleine. - Emmett "

I smiled as I stared at his text. Maybe he wasn't that bad after all.
