Chapter EIGHTEEN

He pulled away from me slightly but was still very close to my face. He smiled slightly, before opening his mouth to speak.

" I love you too " He said.

" So much " He bent down and placed his lips on mine. Cold, my lips turned very cold but I enjoyed it. I kissed back carefully feeling everything. It was just a small and sweet kiss but it was the best one I had ever had.

We stayed at the cliff for a while just enjoying each other's presence. But when things started to get to cold for me we decided to head back. In the car I answered Lauren wondering where I was and if I was home. I said I had gone home early and didn't want to ruin her fun.

Emmett drove me home and dropped me off a street over from my house so my parents wouldn't see.

" I don't want to go " I said after we had been sitting in silence in his car once again.

" I'll come inside later " He said and grabbed my hand and kissed the back of it.

" I'll have to sneak you in again? " I asked and chuckled.

" No I'll come in through the window " He said.

" Okay " I said and stepped out of the car. I walked to my house and greeted everyone once I came inside. I hadn't gotten grounded , my father had called my ballet teacher and she confirmed what I had said and my father came to say he was sorry later that evening. So now everything was good again, thankfully.

I quickly grabbed something to eat before going up into my room and getting ready for bed. When I was done I laid down in my bed, waiting for Emmett to come. It hasn't even gone thirty minutes and I'm already missing him and I have so many questions bubbling inside me. I put the charger into my phone and continued to wait. After awhile I realised I had forgotten to lock my door so I went up to do it. When I was about to turn around and go back to me bed I felt a pair of arms wrapping themself around my waist.

" I missed you " He whispered into my ears and I started to blush.

" Me too " I said.

We sat down on my bed again the same way as we did the last time he was here.

" I have some questions " I said hoping he would be up for answering them.

" of course "

" What do you eat? " I asked.

" Animals, my family and I are vegetarians. At least that's what Carlisle likes to call our diet " I nodded at his words and continued with my questions.

" Are there more vampires and do they eat the same way you do? "

" There are more vampires but not all eat the same. Our cousins up in Denali is the only ones we know that have the same diet to us the rest feeds on humans "

" Okay, thank you for answering my questions " I said, deciding I was done asking questions for today.

I yawned feeling tired, but I didn't want to go to bed. I wanted to spend time with Emmett.

" You're tired " He said.

" Yes but it's fine "

" You need sleep Madeleine "

" No I wanna spend time with you "

" It's been a long day, you need sleep. " He said and helped me get under the covers.

" Will you stay with me? " I asked.

" Of course " He said and laid down with me. I cuddled up against him and he wrapped his big arms around me. He caressed my arms like last time and this made me more sleepier quicker.

" Will you go tomorrow or will you stay with me then as well? "

" I don't want to leave you "

" Good " I said and smiled.

" Go to sleep now my little ballerina " He said and it lulled me too sleep.
