Chapter THIRTYEIGHT

Emmetts POV:

I rushed inside the ballet studio, I felt panicky and afraid. I needed to get to Madeleine, I needed to get her to safety.

The first thing I saw inside the studio was James biting down in Bella's arm. And Edward throwing him off into the mirrors. As I turned to the left I saw my sweet little ballerina falling to the ground unconscious.

I rushed over and managed to catch her before she hit the ground.

" No, no, no. Baby come on. Wake up " I chocked out, I tried to make her wake up but she was unresponsive.

" Please baby, come on. Wake up. Please, don't leave me " I frantically tried and tried to make her wake up. I kissed her face many times in hope that they would wake her up.

" Madeleine " I screamed out in despair and then I felt a hand on my back.

" Let me see her " It was Carlisle, he rushed to the other side of Madeleine and checked her out.

" She's been bitten too" He exclaimed and pointed to her arm.

How could I miss that? Why didn't I check? I looked up at Carlisle begging him with my eyes to save her.

" You could let her turn, or suck the venom out of her " He said and looked at me.

" No I can't let her turn, no never " I exclaimed. He nodded and I knew what I needed to do. It was a hard task to do. I could easily lose control and kill her myself. I sighed and grabbed her arm and sank my teeth into her. I saw Carlisle switch place with Alice and she watched over me as I sucked my beloveds blood out.

After a while I felt the venom was replaced by her sweet blood and something in me changed. I grabbed her arm tighter and drank more of her sweet blood. I couldn't stop.

" Emmett! It's done! Her bloods clean! " Alice exclaimed and looked at me with despair.

I looked down at Madeleine and saw her sweet beautiful eyes open.

" Emmett " She whispered and smile softly. I immediately let go of her arm and went and grabbed her face.

" Madeleine! I'm so sorry " I said and looked at her with remorse.

" it's okay, I love you! " She whispered back and I saw her eyes getting heavy again.

" I love you too! "

" Madeleine? Why is passing out again? " I said frantically, did it drink to much blood? Did I hurt her?

" It's just the shock Emmett " I heard Carlisle say as he came back.

" You did good son " He said and looked deeply into my eyes reassuring me slightly.

I felt a bit more at peace. But I needed Madeleine to be okay and not hurt at all.

Alice hugged me and I zoned out. I wished with everything in me that she would pull through.
