We drove for a little while on the main road before he switched off onto a smaller road that lead into the forrest. I looked over at Emmett and smiled slightly, how much life had changed these past weeks. Finally a positive change in my life.
He pulled into the big driveway and I looked up at the house. It was a very big and modern house with lots of big windows.
" Wow, you've got a really nice house " I gasped out.
" Esme designed it " He said and got out of the car and walked around to open my door. He reached out his hand and i grabbed it, he helped me out and closed the door. He put both of his hands on my face and turned it to face him. He looked deeply into my eyes before he started to speak.
" It's okay Madeleine, it's going to go good " He said trying to calm me down.
" How do you know I'm a bit scared? " I asked.
" Your heart beats quicker " He said.
" Right, of course you can hear it " I said feeling a bit dumb for asking such a question.
" You ready? " He asked and waited for my okay. I nodded and he grabbed my hand leading me inside the house. We walked up the stairs and he led me towards the kitchen where most of his family were standing and cooking. They all turned towards us when we were closer to them.
A young woman with almost copper like hair smiled big and walked towards me and engulfed me in a big hug. She pulled away and her big smile was still intact.
" I'm Esme, and you are Madeleine! " She said and I felt a faint feeling of comfort from her way of welcome.
" This is my husband Carlisle " She said and pointed to a man with light blonde hair who also looked very friendly.
" Nice to finally meet you Madeleine " He said calmly.
" This is Rosalie, Alice and Jasper " She said and pointed towards a beautiful woman with golden hair, a short fairy like girl and a boy who looked like he was in pain.
" Jasper is our newest vegetarian so he's having a bit of a hard time with you humans in the house " Said a man beside me who I figured must be Edward. A woman with brown hair was standing awkwardly beside him.
" I'm Madeleine " I said towards the girl and she smile up at me.
" I'm Bella " She said in a small voice.
" Well I'm going to show Madeleine the rest of the house now " Emmett said and grabbed my arm once again.
