Chapter THIRTYSIX

Alice and Jasper were downstairs checking us out from the hotel. They said it was time to move to the airport , because Edward and Emmett were going to pick us up to go away from here. It hurt me a bit knowing that there was a chance that James could seriously hurt us or kill us. And then I wouldn't be able to say sorry to my family or be with Emmett ever again.  I sighed and got ready to do what we had to do.

Bella and I sneaked past Alice and Jasper and hailed a cab. The cab driver drove us to where Bella used to practice ballet. We gave him some money we had found in one of the bags that were brought with us. It wasn't enough for the whole trip but the cab driver let it go when he saw how distressed we were.

We stood outside the big building wondering if we had to break open the door to get inside or if it was already open. I was a bit scared about the fact that we might have to break in, I didn't feel good know that we might have to do a crime. But if that was what we needed to do to help Renee then that was what we were going to have to do.

Bella grabbed my hand and squeezed it before dragging me along inside. The door was open, that was good. That's one less crime, I thought. We walked inside the building and there were mirrors coating each wall just like at home in my ballet studio. With railings following the walls as well. Somehow I felt a slight feeling of being home, I guess that's just because I've spent more time in a ballet studio than in my own home.

We looked around but couldn't find Renee anywhere, we got confused for a while before we heard her voice.

" Bella, Bella, Where are you " Renee's voice came out of nowhere. We started running towards where we thought the sound was coming. But we didn't get far before Renee's voice was cut off and replaced my James voice.

" That took you long enough " He said coldly from somewhere in the room.

Chills ran down my spine and I wondered, how was this going to end.
