"What should we do for team bonding tonight?" Lotte asked, glancing around the room.

You smirked. "Why don't we head to a shooting range? Team competition. The group with the worst accuracy buys dinner."

The girls were quick to agree, none of them realizing what you were playing at.

Except for your Skipper, of course.

Kim side-eyed your dull gray wrist brace for a moment, but the captain nodded nevertheless. "Alrighty, then."

------------------

"Y/N, I know this was your idea, but you can't shoot a gun with an injured wrist," Leah chided, walking over to attempt to wrench the pistol from your grasp. "C'mon, give it here."

You blinked innocently, twisting your body to the side and firing a single bullet that hit the center of the target.

The team froze, gaping at your cocky figure with shocked expressions.

Clicking on the safety, you began twirling the gun around your pointer finger. "3, 2, 1..."

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Lotte and Caitlin yelled, eyes wide.

Viv drew in a breath. "That is..."

"Terrifying," Steph finished. "Holy..."

"Why... ehm, why was that so accurate? Please, explain." Katie crossed her arms.

You raised your eyebrows. "I'm American."

"Ah."

(A/N: I'm American, I can make that joke.)

----------------

"Hey, Y/N. Good to see you," a reporter greeted. "Thanks for coming to this press conference today. How's your wrist doing?"

You smiled politely. "Hi. My wrist's actually healing nicely, thanks."

"Oh my god," Kyra said excitedly, reaching over and placing a hand on your arm. "We went to a shooting range for team bonding and she's so good! Like, we're talking one-handed bullseye! She's relentless!"

"Shhhh," you whispered-yelled. "They don't need to know that, hou je mond!" (Shut the fuck up!)

The Aussie grinned cheekily. "What are you gonna do about it?"

You gasped. "Oh, you'll see."

------------------

The next morning, you strapped your fully-stocked bandolier across your chest, making sure to zip up your training jacket to cover it.

"Y/N, we've got to go for training, c'mon!" Katie shouted as she hurried down the stairs.

"Comin'!" You slipped your Nerf glock into its holster at your hip, careful concealed underneath your training shirt and joggers.

Kyra Cooney-Cross was fucked.

-----------------

"Y/N, come sit with me and Kim?" Viv questioned as you and half team entered the cafeteria.

"Sure," you nodded, following the others to grab your food. "I'll be there."

"So, Y/N," Kim started as you sat down. "Any plans for our off-day tomorrow?"

You shrugged as the Dutchie and the Scott looked at you expectantly. "Not really, I'll probably just hide away from Kyra."

"Why?"

You pulled up your training top, pulling your glock from its holster.

The two watched with amused grins as you shot the Aussie square in the back without even looking.

"What the fu- who?" She yelped, picking up the fallen foam bullet. "I'm watching you, Meado."

Beth blinked. "That wasn't- but- okay, I guess."

"I can't believe- nevermind, actually, this is you we're talking about." Viv shook her head. "How many bullets does that hold?"

"One MAG holds two."

"You aren't getting that one back," Kim said, gesturing to the dart that Kyra had carelessly thrown to the side of her, Lotte, Caitlin, Steph, Beth, and Jordan's table. "Didn't plan this out well, did yous?"

You unzipped your jacket, revealing both rows of blue and orange Nerf bullets crossed over each other. "This enough for ye'?"

The older woman rubbed her eyes, blinking rapidly. "You're crazy."

All throughout lunch, you managed to inconspicously shoot a confused Kyra Cooney-Cross without even glancing in her direction.

"Who the fuck is- guys!" She groaned. "Whoever's doing that, knock it off!"

A shit-eating grin appeared on your face as you loaded another pair of darts into the pistol, relishing in the surprised squeak that left the Aussie's mouth when you yet again fired the weapon.

The room erupted in laughter as you snuck a glance behind you.

Apparently, you'd clocked the Matilda in the face since she'd turned around at the perfect time.

Kyra held a hand to her cheek, scanning your side of the room suspiciously. "I swear to God, who the fuck- Y/N!"

"Hmm?" You spun around innocently after quickly tucking your Nerf gun back into its holster. "What is it, dearest teammate of mine?"

She chucked a pile of bullets at you, most of them scattering at your feet. "The hell are you doing?"

"Proving you wrong," you responded casually, tossing your jacket to the side and rolling up your top slightly. "Don't think I forgot about what you said yesterday."

"What the actual fuck?" Katie chuckled, panning her phone to the bandoliers strapped to your chest. "My god, you are relentless."

By now, most of the team's phones were out, recording the whole shebang.

Of course, nothing would compare to Viv's recording that had lasted since the second time you'd reloaded your glock.

"This is going on Instagram," the Striker laughed. "You're so stupid but funny it hurts."

You smiled cheekily, turning to face her as you shot yet another bullet that smacked Kyra in the forehead. "They don't call me dummkopf for nothin'." (Dumbass)

"Who's they?"

"Kristie and Katie."

"Wh-" Lotte choked in her water. "What?"

"Just kidding. That's what Lauryn calls me."

"HA-"
