Eleanor pushes her glasses up on her nose as she zips up her suitcase. She had just put her last stuff in it seeing Ricky and Mike will be here in 20 minites to pick her up and then drop them off at the airport.
It's finally break, and she is going with Ricky to see his mom, and in return when they get back a few days after Ricky will go with her to see her birth dad.
The dancer decided to dress comfortable for the plane ride, so she is dressed in an yellow sweater and some sportleggings. Her curly hair is braided back into an ponytail and her contacts changed in for her glasses.
"Morning!" She greets her boyfriend as she gets in the car, already having greeted Mike as he was waiting outside to out her suitcase away.
"Morning, El." He smiles.
Ricky is also dressed comfortable, a sweatshirt and some sweats, his hood is up making her think he didn't borher to do something with his hair. She speaks from experience when she says his curls look like a bird nest in the morning.
When they finally arrive at the airport the two say goodbye to Mike before heading inside.
After they got trough security and stuff they get some food and drink before sitting at a table seeing the plane will start boarding in half an hour.
"So, how you doing?" She asks, taking a sip of her coffee.
He shrugs his shoulders. "Honestly? I'm not sure. Like, I want to see her but at the same time I don't, does that make sense?"
She nods her head. "It does." She assures. "And those feelings are completely valid."
"I guess it'll be alright. At least Tod won't be there." He says his name full of despite.
She grimaces, thinking back to when that man answered the phone of Lynne and showed up when he was lifted in the air. "Yeah, I can understand that."
"And you're there." He says softly.
She can't help the smile that's forming on her face at his words. "And I'm there."
-
"Do you want the middle or window seat?" Ricky asks when they arrive at their seats.
"Window, if that's okay by you?" She quickly adds.
He nods his head. "Yeah, I don't mind." He steps aside so the girl can sit down first.
Ricky sits down in the seat next to her. "I bet some old grumpy person will sit in that seat."
She hits his shoulder. "Don't jinx it!"
"Sorry!" He exclaims, rubbing his shoulder which honestly does hurt a bit. "Why did you hit me that hard?"
"Shit, sorry. I had some lessons when I was younger. My bad."
He shakes his head at the girl. "Just don't hit me- or anyone else for that matter so hard."
"I'll try." She promises. "Now, wanna watch the movie I downloaded?"
"You downloaded, spiderman, didn't you?" He sighs, but agrees anyways.
"Duh," She says like it is obvious. "Andrew Garfield is hot."
"Fair enough." He agrees, taking the left airpod that is handed to him.
They watched the movie, and looks like Ricky infact jinxed them as a old man sat down in the seat next to Ricky.
When there's only one hour left of the flight the girl is dozed off on his shoulder.
Ricky's head starts tilling to the side and lands on hers as his eyes close aswell.
In less then an hour Ricky will see his mom again.
And less then an hour Eleanor will meet Ricky's mom for the first time.
