meeting the dad.

It currently is a little over ten in the morning, the couple had both slept till their alarm went off. Venting did Eleanor good, seeing she finally fell asleep after that.

Right now the two are just cuddling in bed, the alarm went off only ten minutes ago so they decided to just lay there for a bit.

"We should probably get ready." Ricky says, knowing that if he doesn't speak up neither will she.

Eleanor knows he is right, and even though she does not want to she starts ro sit up anyways.

They came here to meet her dad in the first place, it has to happen.

"Yeah. We should." She agrees.

And twenty minutes later they're sitting at a table with some breakfast infront of them.

"It'll be fine, Eleanor. I'll be there and like I said, if something goes wrong or your feelings change for the worse, we'll leave Instantly." Ricky assures her.

"I don't know why I'm so anxious about this." Eleanor admits. "It's just my dad."

"Who you haven't spoken to for a couple years." He points out. "It's completely understandable you are feeling this way."

She just nods her head, not bothered to reply because she knows she doesn't believe that anyways.

She'll just has to wait and see how it goes.

It feels like an hour has gone by in the past ten seconds, she looks at the door, she has just ran the doorbell where her dad is supposed to live.

Another ten seconds go by and the girl turns to Ricky who is standing behind her. "He is not gonna open the door. We should go."

Ricky shakes his head, looking down at his girlfriend. "Give it a few more seconds, Ellie. He'll answer the door."

"No I'm sure, we should just go back to the ho-"

"Hello?" An voice says from behind her. His voice says from behind her. She recognizes her fathers voice from everywhere. "Can I help you?"

Ricky gives Eleanor a look that tells her to turn around, her eyes widden as she shakes her head, shit.

Ricky rolls his eyes as his hands move to her waist. "Yeah," Before she can do anything Ricky had turned her around. "She wanted to talk to you."

It is quiet for a few seconds, The man and girl starring at each other.

"Eleanor?" He finally breaks the silence, he is stunned, is this really his daughter standing infront of him?

"Dad?" Her voice comes out in a whisper, nor sure what else to say.

"Ellie." A smile breaks out on the man his face before he lunges forward, wrapping her up in his arms.

Eleanor her eyes close as she sinks into his chest, his embrace feels so familliar, she knows she just missed him in general, but she never knew she missed his hugs.

Ricky stands behind them, arms crossed as he watches them with a smile on his face.

"I can't believe it really is you." He leans back, placing his hands on her cheeks as he lets his eyes wander over his daughter.

"I-i wanted to see you, for a long time now." Ellie admits, there are tears visible in her eyes.

"Me too." Her dad answers. "Your mom wouldn't let me."

"I know, I hate her for that. And Eleanor does, she might not hate her fully but a part of her does.

"Do you wanna come inside?" He then asks.

Eleanor nods her head. "Yes please."

He then seems to remember the boy behind his daughter and looks up at the guy.

"I'm Justin." He holds out his hand for Ricky.

"I'm Ricky," He grabs his hand. "Ellie's, uh." He trails off, not sure if she wants him to tell him that.

"Ricky's my soulmate." Eleanor finishes for him.

She doubts that he will have the same reaction as her mom, and if he does she doesn't care. She is tired of hiding it.

Ricky smiles down at her, letting her grab his hand and interwining their fingers.

Another smile grows on Justin his face, happy his daughter met her soulmate. "It's so nice to meet you. Come inside."

I had major writings block with this chapter, but I managed to atleast write a bit.

Idk if I gave her dad a name already but I can't remember so for now it is Justin!!
