"If you keep saying shit like that, I will throw a knife in your dick, Reed ." I had to listen to him saying all kinds of shit about the conversation I had with Evangeline.
"Sorry brother, but you don't get along with women. It's weird seeing you talking to one." Reed said between laughs.
"Oh, Reed, I do get along with women." I blew out the cigarette smoke that I inhaled earlier and threw the cigarette butt somewhere near me.
He rolls his eyes. "You know what I mean." I shake my head just to annoy him. "I mean, you don't have female friends who you just talk to."
"Me and Evangeline aren't friends. Done, I solved your dilemma." This subject already took more than it should.
"Matteo, back me up here." Reed hits Matteo on the shoulder but Matteo is too high to even feel it.
"Just let him be, Reed."
Reed rolled his eyes and let out an angry sigh. "Funkiller." He murmured between his teeth.
"I'll go get some beer. Do y'all want something?" I get up from my seat and wait for their answer.
"Get me some shots of whisky and I have some Jack and Daniels hidden between the radiator and-"
I stopped him. "I don't play hide and seek. Do you want the shots or not?"
"Another funkiller. You and Matteo should start your own fucking club."
I had enough of his shit so I started walking away. "Hey, Miro, you will get me my shots right?" Reed yells after me and all I do is show him my middle finger. He can suck it.
I exit the balcony with him screaming at me, something I don't even bother to understand.
The first person I see is Evangeline who's sleeping on the stairs.
What in the world is this girl sleeping on the stairs? Is she mentally okay?
I go down a few stairs until I get next to her. "Evangeline." Her name rolls down my tongue as I shake her body.
She moves her body a few inches but doesn't open her eyes.
"Evangeline!" This time I yell her name and her eyes open up and she lifts her body, her braids accidentally hitting my face.
"What? What? Please don't tell me it's already morning." She sounded scared and looked around frantically, probably looking for that friend of hers.
"It's not," I assure her. I can see her let out a sigh of relief.
"What time is it?" She asked.
"It's," I checked the watch on my wrist. "almost midnight. 11:56 pm to be more exact."
