My sister never had people over. I never saw her talking to anyone. It was weird seeing people actually talking to her.

I was staring from my window at my sister and three other boys. They were outside the yard but still pretty close for me to see them.

My sister handed a bag to the curly one and I saw how their hands touched. My sister never touched anyone. Not even me. But she seemed happy while she was touching that boy.

The other two exchanged looks and smiled. What were they smiling at?

They kept talking and the boys seemed nice. They didn't hurt my sister, which was good. I was wondering when she knew them. Amelie never talked about them. But it wasn't like she talked to me. She didn't talk in general. And that's why I was jealous of the three boys.

I was trying to hide behind the curtains but when the white-haired boy looked in my direction, I knew he could see me. He looked at me for a few seconds then moved his eyes towards my sister again.

Who was this boy?

Who were they?

Why were they talking to my sister and why did my sister never talk about them?

Why was I so jealous of them so much when I didn't even know their names?

"Henry..." The words get out of my mouth right before I open my eyes.

Henry wasn't in the room but he was in my dreams. Once again.

But this time wasn't a dream. I knew it was a memory. I vaguely remember that day; it was hot outside. So hot that my father — who's all big on economy and saving up — opened up the AC. My parents went out to buy groceries because, for some reason that now I'm aware of, the fridge was empty. Then I heard my sister's door open and I happily got out of bed thinking she would play with me. But when I saw her with two white plastic bags in her hand and heading towards the door, I closed my door.

Curiously got the best of me, as always, and I started peeking out from the window. And then I saw the three of them, sharing a laugh with my Amelie. God, I can even remember how jealous I was that day. I felt it eating me inside because they got to have my sister but I couldn't even get her to talk to me.

As I truly came to the realisation that I saw Henry before I even knew him, I looked up thinking that Henry would be right next to me. But he wasn't. But then I looked at the clock and it was already 2:36pm.
