When I came back to the hotel, Andrew was in front of it, moving from left to right. "Evangeline!" He quickly comes next to me when he sees me. "Where have you been? I was so worried about you!"

"I just walked a little bit," I say between my teeth. "What? Did something happen?"

He shook his head, letting his head fall next to his body. "No, I wanted to talk to you and I haven't seen you for breakfast and I got worried."

I knew I shouldn't have let Henry sleep for five more minutes. Because of him, I was late for breakfast and I almost got caught. "What did you want to talk about?"

The two of us started to walk back into the hotel. "Nothing important. Just wanted to spend some time together. You've been a little bit busy with your new friends."

"Andrew, we'll have all the time in the world once we're back in Brookside. I can only spend one week with them." I know Andrew was feeling left out but he needed to understand that I will make other friends since I'm allowed to leave the house. It's not just gonna be me and him forever.

"Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry."

We parted ways; he went to the table where he and his friends usually sit, and I went to the table where me and my friends usually stay.

"Tell us everything!" Luna doesn't even let me place myself at the table.

"Let her breathe, jeez." Victoria scolded her but Luna was too excited to even acknowledge that someone was talking to her.

"We kissed." The words barely left my mouth because the three of them started to hit each other from too much excitement and the usual small scream was present. This made a few heads turn towards us but we all ignored them. "But it was a one-time thing. It was a thank you for something he did."

"Is that the truth or was it just an excuse?" Avery asked as she calmed herself down.

"The... truth." Yeah, it definitely was the truth.

Victoria, Luna, and Avery nodded like they didn't believe me. Luna tried winking.

"I'm serious!"

"What else?" Luna wanted to know more. I can't blame her or her friends since the story between me and Henry is like an ongoing serial.

"Um, he tattooed our first meeting, we shared the same bed again—"

"He tattooed your guys' first meeting? Where?" Victoria asked with her eyes widened.

"Next to his heart." I felt how I blushed again and I shyly began to play with my fingers.

"Next to his heart.... Girls hold me, I might faint." Luna put a hand to her forehead and with the other one was fanning herself. Victoria and Avery did the same. "You hit the jackpot, girl."
