Monday morning, Jungkook's POV

What a fabulous weekend we had. Three days of bliss. Just us with much of our time spent in the bedroom. It reminded me of some of our early days at the penthouse. We also talked about a lot of things that needed to be said. I apologize to my lover for not being very considerate of the situation with Mrs. Chin. He thought that it was sweet that I had a conversation with Mrs. Chin. Tae also shared his conversation with Jin and now sees a new approach and hopes that Mrs. Chin is open to it. I'm not sure what Tae plans on doing, but anything is better than the kitchen brawls they were having.

Tae and I both walk into the kitchen as Mrs. Chin removes a tray of hot biscuits from the oven. JJ looks up and is wearing his trapped expression.

"Ah, Mr. Jungkookie, I made you and JJ some fresh buttermilk biscuits."

"Oh, is that bacon I smell, Mrs. Chin?" I ask.

"Yes Mr. Jungkookie. I made it crispy just the way you like it."

I look over to JJ who seems to be bracing himself for the cat fight and is waiting to see who is going to take the first Jab. But Tae is quite calm. However, there is a bit of tension in the room and then Mrs. Chin speaks, and I must admit a nervous tingling rushes over my flesh. Is she going to comment on not offering Tae bacon because she knows he doesn't want to get any grease on his overpriced silk shirt? Did Mrs. Chin understand my concern clearly and will she comply?

"Uh, Mr. Tae, I'd offer you some bacon, but I know you are quite health conscious. If you like, I can purchase some turkey bacon." I hear JJ's chair shift immediately because I think, with the shock of Mrs. Chin's words, he almost fell out of it.

"Oh, Mrs. Chin, thank you, but I love bacon. It's my weakness," Tae smiles and then the impossible happens. Mrs. Chin walks over with a small plate of crispy bacon and a smile. Poor JJ's jaw looks as if it's unhinged.

"Thank you, Mrs. Chin." Tae smiles big at me, and I nod. "Mrs. Chin," Tae says almost delicately, "Kookie says your special recipe oatmeal is the best around. Would it be too much of a burden to make me a bowl?" Mrs. Chin pauses as the room goes quiet except for me munching my crispy bacon.

"What, you want a bowl of my oatmeal? You know I use real butter and sugar, none of that phony stuff."

"Yes, I know and, if my boys love it, I'd like to try it." All of a sudden, a wide smile spreads over Mrs. Chin's face.

"Of course, Mr. Tae. I'd be happy to make you a bowl." Under his breath, I hear JJ mumble.

"What the fuck," JJ says quietly. Tae then gets up and gets out the dried oats. JJ takes the opportunity and leans over and whispers. "Where is Tae and where did you find this imposter?" I chuckle.

"Here you are, Mrs. Chin."

"Thank you, Mr. Tae." It's only been 10 minutes and it's better than I could have imagined.

Fifteen minutes later, Tae is singing Mrs. Chin's praises. But I know my love. He's laying on the sugar pretty thick. What does he want?

"Mrs. Chin, that was wonderful. I've been meaning to ask you how your grandson Kyle is. He's such a nice young man with good manners and I can tell he was brought up well." Okay, now Tae is just shamelessly kissing Mrs. Chin's ass.

"Oh, Mr. Tae, he's very smart and says he's doing well at Mr. Jeon's company. He also says one day he'll be CEO."

"Wait. What?" Tae gives me a kick under the table.

"I bet he'll do it. He's a smart one, that Kyle." Tae says, finally unlocking his lips from Mrs. Chin's ass.

"Thank you, Mr. Tae. That means a lot coming from a fine gentleman like yourself."
