Tae's POV

I wake up to a room that's filled with sunlight and lift my phone off the bedside table. It's 11:30 am and I jump to my feet. "Oh, no!" Jae Jin's gift should have arrived. I take a quick shower and dress before heading downstairs.

As I come downstairs, I hear laughter and happy voices. I think the gift must have come, hearing the tone of JJ's voice. He's happy.

"Good morning, babe," Kookie says.

Jae Jin rushes over and squeezes me tightly. "Thanks Tae, this is the best gift ever!"

"Hello, Mr. Tae", JJ's dad says. He looks totally different. Healthy and strong. My eyes easily flood with tears seeing the sight of him and his son together.

"How are you? How was your flight?" I manage to say through all my emotions.

"It was good. Thank you so much for flying me here to see my boy and to stay in your wonderful home." JJ looks so much like him.

"It was our pleasure. We love having JJ here and now you."

Jungkook's POV

Later that evening, Tae and I snuggle together on the sofa. The house is quiet and we're home alone.

"Babe, I was waiting for a quiet moment after everything settled to give you your holiday gift." Tae perks up immediately with curiosity.

"You got me something special? Kookie, we said we weren't going to give each other gifts because we're not defined by holidays or birthdays. We give to each other all year around when we feel moved."

"Tae, this is special, and I felt moved to give to you." He nods with a big smile.

"Okay, my love," my little tiger cub says.

I give him a postcard with the picturesque view of The Grand Hotel overlooking the park and the river.

"Kookie that's beautiful. What a great time we had at the penthouse. I bet the streets are covered with snow, and the holiday decorations outside and in that majestic lobby are just breathtaking. Everything there was perfect." He chuckles.

"What is it sweetheart?"

"Remember how naughty you were in that pool?" He then barks out a laugh.

"Me! What? Sir, let me remind you it was you that stole my swim shorts and tossed them out of the pool." Tae vibrates with laughter and I know for certain that this is the right thing to give him.

"Oh, my goodness, the chef was exquisite as was the staff." His eyes are now a puddle of wetness. "Kookie, it was where we met and fell in love." He clears his throat and sniffles. "But, what's the significance of the post card? " He sighs out a breath. "Life was so perfect there."

"If you flip it over you will find the significance." He's frozen for a moment and slowly turns it over and reads the one sentence I wrote.

"Thirty days with my baby." His mouth nearly hits the floor and his eyelids flip wide open.

"Oh My God, is this true?"

"Is what true?" I say jokingly.

"Stop playing with me, Kookie. This?" Tae is excitedly waving the post card.

"Yep, my baby and I are going to the penthouse for 30 days." Tae starts to move slowly and works himself up to a full bounce, jumping on the couch as the idea takes hold. Suddenly he stops and his face washes clean of all joy and excitement.

"Wait a minute. I can't go, I have work. It's too busy. Thirty days is too long." He starts to get worked up and I place a calm hand on his thigh.

"I've worked it all out with Lisa."
