Part 31: Secrets will come out

 Jungkook' POV:

I open my eyes and immediately close them to the bright sunlight that pours over the bed. Blindly I reach for my fiancé and find a vacant cold spot. I sit up and press my back into the headboard?

Tae then comes into the room moving like a busy bee as I watch him and smile. Why is it that, whenever this man comes into a room, he takes my breath away? Fuck, he's hot in his snug little lavender outfit with his shorts that fit his plump ass perfectly. Thank God, only two days left of dad's visit. I know that's a horrible thing to say, but I'm missing intimacy with Tae.

"Hey, baby, good morning."

"Good morning, Kookie. I didn't see you there."

"Tae, how do you look so amazing this early in the morning? Please come back to bed. I want to cuddle."

"Kookie, I'm going to answer some emails then get dressed and go have coffee with Jimin in an hour. Later I have a special package being delivered."

"So, what's the problem? Why are you still standing over there babe?"

"You know why, Kookie. I'm a bit upset with you because you're not respecting my boundaries around no sex until dad leaves."

"Seeing that dad's leaving in two days, I'm focused on other things like how many positions I'm going to do you in." I chuckle and he doesn't.

"Kookie, last night you were rubbing against my ass. This is not easy for me either."

"I'm sorry, Tae, but what do you expect me to do when you walk around looking like that?!" Tae now chuckles.

"I'm sorry, Kookie. I was dressing for comfort."

"Tae, I want to talk to you about something serious and hold you."

"Okay, Kookie." He walks over and climbs into bed with me.

I wrap my arms around him and pull him close. "Isn't this nice, Tae?"

"Yes, it is."

"Tae, you remember my old friend Jae that visited me here last week."

"You mean your ex-boyfriend. That Jae?"

"Yes, Tae, my ex-boyfriend, Jae."

"Kookie don't try to wash over stuff like I don't know what's going on. I don't like that."

"Okay, baby. Well, it looks like we might be doing business together. Jae developed some software that's like nothing I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. I'm impressed and Namjoon agrees. But there's another company that is trying to take them over. The Jeon Corporation will intervene."

"Does this mean the Jeon Corporation will merge with them?'

"Yes, sweetheart that's what it means. But it will be messy. It's like going to war. The other company, Triton, will try to harm us by discrediting us. Triton is our top competitor, and they are hostile. They're notorious for being really dirty. They will come after all of us. This means they will look for secrets to expose and other vulnerabilities." Tae leans forward with a partly gaping mouth.

'I've been through this before and it gets ugly and personal. They will do anything to kill the deal so they can take Jae and his husband's company." I pull in a quick breath and quickly release it. "Secrets will come out."

"So, you're saying it may come out about my past as an Escort?"

"No Tae, what I'm saying is it will come out. My concern is for you. Is this something that I want to get involved in, given the cost?" Tae's brows knit together.
