I open my eyes as the sunlight pours in through the window. For just a moment, I'm confused. Suddenly a big smile moves across my face as I realize it's my WEDDING DAY!
I quickly sit up and I want to talk to Kookie. This not seeing him sucks. I've awakened next to him every day, for over 2 years.
Well, except that time when he made that comment about marriage, and I kicked him out of our bedroom. I missed him so much that night.
"Fuck it! I'm calling my man!" I speak. My call goes to his voicemail.
"Noooo!" Kookie please pick-up.
"Baby, please!" I whisper.
There's a knock on the door and Jimin slowly enters.
"Hey, Tae-Tae, you okay?"
"No, I want my Kookie!"
"Tae, you will see him in 6 hours."
"No, Jimin, you don't understand. I ache for him."
"Tae, you have wedding day jitters, and you want your rock. You will have him in 6 hours. Now get out of that bed and come eat some breakfast.
"No, I'm not hungry. I'll eat later with Kookie."
"Look, I won't have a hungry groom. It will make the day hard. C'mon, let's go."
"No, Chm. I want to—"
"Get Your Goddamn Ass Out Of That Bed Now! We're On Wedding Day Count Down! I Don't Care What You Want! Do You Know How Hard Lisa And I Worked To Make This Day Perfect For You!? You Spoiled Ass Whipped Bitch!!"
"O-Okay, I-I guess I could have some oatmeal.
"That's more like it. See you in 10 minutes. Don't make me come back in here," Jimin says with a smile as he closes the guest room door.
I get up, call Kookie again, and leave a message.
Jungkook's POV
Out of habit, I reach for Tae and only find an empty space. Waking in another bed means no Tae. I spent the night at Chany's condo.
I reach for my phone to check on my baby and it's not there. "Fuckin Chany."
I stomp down the hall into the living area where I hear the sound of a loud sporting event come from the TV. Sitting on the couch is Chany. "Where the hell is my phone!?"
"Good morning to you too," Chany says not taking his eyes off his television.
"I need to make a call!"
"To whom?"
"Who do you think?"
"Kookie, Tae's busy."
"Busy?" The Wedding doesn't start for 6 hours."
"Hi, Kookie."
I pivot and see Baek in the kitchen.
"Oh, hi. Uh, do you know where my phone is?" He shakes his head indicating no.
"How about some breakfast?" Baek asks. It does smell good, and I should eat something. I slowly nod my head and turn to Chany.
"Hey, give me your phone."
"Nope, can't do that," Chany says continuing to keep his eyes glued to the TV.
"What? Why?" He is totally into his events. Suddenly he jumps up and claps when his team scores.
"Sorry, Kookie but it's the championship game and your brother has left the building for about one more hour," Baek says. I stare blindly not knowing who this dude is. "Here use my phone." I thank Baek as he hands me his phone.
