                     Kiara POV

" Happy Valentine" he murmured as he walked into my room and I smiled.

" Same to you val-less guy" I laughed.

" You don't have a val too, Soo we are equal".

I gave Jarden a nasty look before rolling my eyes.

" Part of it was your fault actually" I sincerely said

" Well thank me for it".

" Thank you? Why?" I anxiously asked.

" At least you're still a virgin". He says.

" You think that is something to be proud of ?" Jarden tinted his eyes before leaning on the couch.

" It is" If Jarden thinks this is a good thing then it is, it's hard to get Jarden to think good about something.

" So.... What are you wearing?" Jarden asked.

" Nothing special it's just dinner right" Jarden nodded then walked towards me.

" 5 feet away from each other sir it was agreed" Jarden stopped at my word before nodding.

" Oh yh" he bites in lips before going back to the couch.

FLASHBACK

"Yes" Immediately that word came out from Jarden's mouth, I was shattered, annoyed and angry. I was just a play toy to him, right?

" We talked about this from the start Kiara, no....."

  " Strings attached" I completed.

" So sorry, my bad, wasn't surprised" I laughed nervously.

" So... Am I invited?" He asked. Invited to my room, after today? Hell no. Being alone with Jarden was like being alone with just one ice cream that I had been craving for a long period of time.

  " Can...." I stopped.

" Can whatever we ever had just stop like let's not touch each other anymore" I blurted out.

Jarden stared at me quietly for a while before walking closer to me.

" Like 5 feet apart" he stopped walking towards me.

" I thought I made it clear when I offered a friendship," he said.

" We didn't talk about that though".

  " I said friends".

" Friends can still do things right".

" That is friends with benefits, I didn't say that," he said. I sigh.

"Let's just stop acting like children" he added.

PRESENT

" Two weeks suspension," Mr Thompson said.

" What was the fight about anyway?" Jake asked.

" A video Game" Jarden murmured.

" A video game?" Jake asked suspiciously.

" Greg doesn't play video games" Jake murmured enough for just me and Jarden to hear. He looked at us giving us that look, which meant "I know you're lying".

" fighting with your friend wasn't what you should...."

" Dinner is ready" Mom interrupted.

The aroma of the food welcomes us into the dining room. Mom's cooking was the best, I have always loved her cooking and I missed it.
