Chapter 108: You're done

Your eyesight was blurry, red from the blood, stumbling.

"Y/n, it's easy to give up. I'll kill you peacefully, just with a single touch from my hand, and boop. You're free." Reverse slowly walked towards you, the same grin plastered on her face.

The cold raindrops felt like needles, needles that stabbed and dug up your skin.

Reverse stood in front of you.
She raised her hand, smacking your head, laughing. "Or maybe I won't let you go that easily. You killed me one time, remember?"
She flicked your forehead mockingly, and made a thorn out of air with her quirk. She pressed the thorn on your forehead, drawing a straight line with it. Blood dripped from the wound, as she laughed harder.

"Oh Y/n, my beloved Y/n. Good to see you so miserable and weak." She mocked your soulless state, grabbing the top of your head and swinging it back and forth.

"You couldn't save your friends. You couldn't save your mom. You couldn't defeat me."
She stated everything she had done to you, every horrible memory that you never wanted to remember again.
"Now what should I do...kill your brother and maybe kill your boyfriend too?"
She cackled.
Thunder struck from the sky, making her face glow.

You just stood there, mentally exhausted and soulless. The lack of blood made your head spin, and the painful reality blanked your mind.

But then a white glow passed your eyes, less than a second, you found yourself in someone's arms.
Quite unfamiliar, but someone you definitely knew. You opened your eyes to see...Siji.

He was alive. Wounded, but still in one piece.
"The heroes and I took care of Succubus and Clarie. Succubus survived but is in no state to move, don't worry."
He whispered to you. But in fact, nothing was good. Even the two villains and some other extra villains were down good, the rest of the pro heroes were also all down. Which meant the only one who could fight Reverse was you and Siji.

Reverse looked unhappy, like a hyena that got their food stolen.
"I was having some fun here."

"Fun? Like how I killed your friend Clarie?"
Siji mocked her back.

"Whatever. She was a bother anyways, thank you for that. But let's make this quick, I want to play with Y/n before killing her." She swiftly sprung to Siji, massive sizes of thorn shaped air pieces shot from the sky, towards Siji.

But even if Reverse was fast, she couldn't beat Siji with speed.

He quickly let you down on the ground, as he shot a laser from around his arms, using the aura he had stored in his costume.

Reverse's head was burnt crisp, but soon turned back to normal. That 'reverse' quirk was bothering.

"Siji..."
You couldn't just lay there and watch your brother fight. He was injured too, his head and legs were bloody.

'What am I doing..?'
You clenched your fists, your nails digging up the flesh of your palms. You had vowed to take down Reverse, you said that it was YOUR responsibility.
But being weak like this? While your brother fought instead?

Everyone else was fighting.

Were your years of training useless?
Did you forget what she had done to your friends?
To your family?

'No...I'm not weak. And this is my responsibility. I'm going to take her down.'
You vowed once again, standing back up on your feet.

A black aura surrounded your bloody figure, casting a soft glow. Something unusual about it, was that it was spinning fast around your body like a tornado.
Your eyes shone, a gold ember like glittering inside of it.
