I stood up and brushed the dirt off my jeans. Leaving Will and Nico (I thought they were so cute together) to their conversation, I followed Clarisse to the next room.
I gasped and saw something so weird that I had to pinch myself. The room was about the size of my bedroom (so big by bedroom standards) and was full of all of my life's paintings, that I had made on prophecies.
"I'm guessing these are your paintings?" Clarisse asked, raising an eyebrow. "Uh huh," I responded, intrigued. As we walked through the room, the paintings got more and more recent.
They began as ones from the Battle with Kronos, to ones of Jason, Leo and Piper, to ones of Percy, Hazel and Frank. To ones of the Argo II and then Arachne and Tartarus and the battle with Gaia.
"You've painted a lot," Clarisse said, whistling.
I frowned. Near the end, there was pictures I didn't recognise. "These aren't mine..." I said and Clarisse frowned. "So whose are they?"There was a picture of Nico and Will falling, clinging to eachother in an abyss, screaming. I swallowed. There was an image of a woman with dark hair. I didn't recognise her, but she had a knife to Annabeth's neck.
There was a picture of Leo, on his knees, chained up and defiant."I think... I think these are still true," Clarisse mumbled, pointing at the one of Nico and Will falling. I nodded.
"But... does th.. that mean..." she pointed at Annabeth.
"No - Nico would have told us if he felt something," I assured her. She sighed in relief. I didn't realise she and Annabeth were friends. The most recent painting was of the seven in the dining room, eating burgers. "See?" I said, "they're fine."
We'd reached the end of the room, where there was a door to a new corridor. "We should go back to the boys and then continue, I can feel the fleece is that way," I said. But then Clarisse nudged me and pointed above the doorway.
I freaked out about what I saw.
There was four framed paintings. The first one was an image of Camp. Everything was destroyed. All the buildings were gone and bodies littered the floors. Monsters roamed freely.
The second one was also an image of Camp. It was a picture of the Seven on their knees, and of the four of us, together, gagged and tied up on the floor. Then there was Gaia in the centre.
The third one was of Camp Jupiter. All of the buildings were burning. Demigods ran around, terrified. Reyna was on the ground, a sword in her back.
I realised these were close to what Nico had seen in his dream. But I noticed small differences. This time, we were there in the second painting, and what had stabbed Reyna in the back was a sword, not a spear.
I didn't know if this meant anything, or if they could be changed, but I was hopeful.
The last painting was of two figures. They were surrounded by storms and a dark red liquid, which curled around them. Blood. The first person was a primordial. Gaia. She was smiling, her eyes bright and wide, fully awake. The second was a man with dark hair and green eyes. He had a determined expression with his hands in fists. Percy Jackson. They stood next to eachother.
Clarisse and I exchanged a look of confusion and fear about the paintings, after studying them for a minute.
"Let's get out of here," Clarisse said. I agreed.

We found the two boys, laughing, whilst sitting on the floor. They had their backs against the wall and their things packed up. Nico stood up awkwardly, then helped Will up. "You ready?" Nico said before nodding to me, "You lead, Rachel, let's go."
"Um, so we found a room which we think you might find pretty interesting. But I think we should be quick 'cos I feel like the Labyrinth is changing," I said as we walked to the doorway to the room of paintings. They looked confused, but nodded. Just as I said that, the bricks in the room we were standing in started to move, the whole room shook as opposite walls started to move together.
"I think that's our queue," Will said.
We jogged into the art room and Will and Nico looked around in shock, confusion, and terror. Will glanced up above the door."Is that the f..future?" he mumbled.
"I don't know," I said looking at the floor, frustrated I couldn't even do my job properly. I was surprised when Clarisse put a sympathetic hand on my shoulder and I smiled."Don't worry girlie," she said to me, smiling, "Now show us where to go, you're the satnav," she said to me. I laughed and stepped into the next corridor. There was an immediate fork in the path.
To the left, there was a faint glow and to the right, I could sense deadly traps. "Definitely this way," I said, and went straight to the left.
We walked until the stones became white plastic halfway down the tunnel. There were faint lights on the ceiling, which gave an eerie glow. We walked on in silence.
Then a voice started to talk to us. "Come and find me... I know you will. I'm in complete control around here, in case you haven't noticed. I could just..."
A hole in the floor opened up directly in front of me. I was about to fall but Nico grabbed the back of my jacket with lightening reflexes. I sighed in relief.
We looked around, trying to find where the voice came from, but the woman (judging by the voice) didn't reveal themselves.
"You're running out of time. Your camp will soon be ruins. Piper deserves it. Have you guessed who I am yet?"
The lights turned off and the world went black.
