Percy

"You have got to be kidding me," I said.

"Hello, Jackson," Octavian snarled.

"Why are you back from the dead? Shouldn't you be in the Fields of Punishment?" Annabeth asked.
"Nah, his face was probably just so ugly that even the furies didn't want him in their sight anymore," I replied.
"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up, you Graceus scum!"
"Oh no! I made him angry!" I smirked.
Annabeth elbowed me in the ribs.
"What!" I replied, trying to look at her, the world was spinning but my vision was gradually getting clearer.

"I will capture you and take you to the Earth Mother! She will make the Romans great again!"
Annabeth rolled her eyes, "You know she doesn't care about demigods, right? Gods, she literally hates us! Why would you-"

She didn't finish what she said. A hilt of a sword hit her on the back of her head and she passed out. Without thinking, I already had riptide out and was holding it at the enemy's neck. Another demigod.

I faltered. A demigod.

"Who are you? Why are you helping them?" I asked. A monster moved towards Annabeth. I gave it a glare worthy of Lupa. The earthborn hesitated slightly.

"Get them," Octavian said behind me. Wait. Right behind me. Those were my last thoughts before something hit me on the back of the head.

The world faded to black.

____________

When I woke up, I was on the same slab of concrete. I decided to keep my eyes shut, to keep the element of suprise.

"Quick, let's go before they wake up," I heard Octavian's nasal tone say.
I tensed when rough hands grabbed my shoulders and waited to spring into action.

I felt more awake than before, the ambrosia must have finally kicked in. Maybe it was a rip-off one, I don't know.

Annoyance seeped it's way into my emotions. Octavian. Really? The same guy that tried to destroy our camp! And Gaia had brought him back! Talk about insult to injury.

I became limp and the (what I thought were earthborn's) hands loosened slightly. They began to drag me along and I prayed that Annabeth was next to me. She hadn't said anything, so was probably still unconscious.

Waiting.

"Remember, we need to take them to the graceaus camp, where the Earth Mother has plans for them."

I nearly snorted. Way to go, amateur kidnapper, you've just revealed your plans to me. That was his first mistake.

Second mistake?

No power-stopping shackles like the ones used on Leo.

He had done something right though, as I couldn't feel riptide in my pocket.
It's fine, I didn't need it anyway.

I finally felt a puddle to my right. Big for puddle standards, but still not the best. Opening my eyes, I snatched the water and chucked it on myself, filtering the dirt out as it was doing so.
