"No." the Titan said, eyes flashing.
I tightened my fist, every ounce of me screaming. Kronos' face morphed in pain.
"I swear on the river styx to your terms." he gritted out. I dropped to my fist, body collapsing onto my back.I didn't really remember the conversation with Annabeth. Something about a ring maybe. A goodbye.
I did remember looking at her face one last time. Sharp silver eyes and creased eyebrows. I thought of my mom and Paul, Estelle and Grover. The rest of camp half-blood, the rest of camp Jupiter. The seven. Nico. Thalia. Rachel. Reyna. Chiron.
Annabeth.I had to kill Gaia. I was going to do it. I was going to kill her as she did all the innocent people. Annabeth would do it too. Annabeth could kill her. I remembered that. I remembered telling her that. Closing the doors was in Annabeth's hands now, and I hoped that maybe, just maybe, I'd be there too. Til' death do us apart wasn't something I believed in anyway.
