Grover

I stood anxiously in the corner of the room, fiddling with my reed-pipes.

"Does anyone know any entrances?" Jason asked, before glancing at Nico, "Are there any in the Underworld?"
"Probably, I don't know specifically where though," Nico said.

Suddenly, a faint memory came back to me. Six years ago, I remembered the shoes Luke had given Percy. I had worn them, and they had almost succeeded in dragging me all the way down to Tartarus. The thought made me shiver. I think. Maybe it was just cold.

"Six years ago, in the underworld! The shoes... remember?" I said, and Percy and Annabeth's faces transformed into recognition, with a flicker of nostalgia.

"When you almost got dragged into the Pit?" Annabeth asked.
"Sorry, WHAT-." Piper tried.
"Yep," I said.
"Yes that could work..." Annabeth said, thinking face on.
"You know what? I'm not even going to ask. So could you get them-her there Nico?" Piper said. She slipped up, but Annabeth didn't seem to notice.

"You've told me this story before - it's on the way to my father's palace, right? Yeah, I think I know it."
"So you can take me there?"
"Yeah."
"Leo'll make something for you so you don't go splat," Percy added.
"Yup! Mcshizzle is on it! Don't you worry!" Leo winked.

"And the doors... Leo... could you also make some traps? I don't know if someone has to hold the button again so I can improvise. Use tape to hold it down, jump in the elevator, and leave a massive ring of explosives, so if anything comes near it goes boom. That alright Leo?"
"Easy. Done."
"Thank you," Annabeth smiled.

"So... The Dragorati cave. How long will it take us to get there?" Jason asked.
"About seventeen hours, I'd guess."
"Seventeen hours to Greece!" said a voice. I turned around and some sort of machine was speaking.
"Buford!" A few people shouted. If I'm being honest, a talking table really doesn't surprise me anymore.

After that, we agreed that Nico would shadow travel Calypso, Rachel and I back to camp. Rachel was going to stay there, but the three of us were going to get our stuff to stay on the Argo II until Percy and Annabeth had gone.

In a day or two, they would be shadow travelled down to the entrance, where they would jump into Tartarus. I hoped Leo knew what he was doing with his strange contraption, because if he didn't, I would allow Juniper to wreak revenge. And trust me, that's not pretty.

Soon after, Rachel was at camp and Nico and I were heading out to Hedge's room with our stuff. Calypso would be staying with Leo, of course. Nico's okay, I guess, just sometimes he can be a bit scary. But he's always been that way. Apart from the ten year old kid who played Mythomagic. I wondered if he still plays, I really wanted to trade for a Pan card.

Calypso and Leo went into their room, Nico and I doing the same. "Hey, cupcakes! No funny business! Put some clothes on!" Buford yelled at us in Hedge's voice. Everyone laughed. Nico raised his sword above the machine, looking pretty annoyed.

"No! My baby!" Leo intervened. I was pretty impressed, normally Leo is scared of Nico. The son of Hades looked at him like 'are you for real, dude?' before trudging into the room. I followed him in, my hooves echoing in the quiet.

"I'll take the floor," I said, putting my stuff down. Nico looked like he wanted to argue, but just shrugged and sat down on the bed.
