"You take them." I said, turning to Annabeth. "I'll hold off Kronos."
"No, bad plan, let's find another exit-"
"What exit?" I said. There weren't any; there was no other way out. She grumbled and sighed, causing me to break out into a short laugh. Her features softened slightly before I shouted "Go!" She sprinted on, as I stopped and turned around to face the Titan.

"How did you reform so quickly?" I called out, twirling my sword. Anxiety pulsed within me, knowing this would be my hardest fight in a long time. Kronos walked leisurely towards me, huge sword at his side. He had to be around 9ft tall, his bulging form causing heavy sounds to echo with every step.
"The primordial of the pit is aiding the fight."
"Ah, I see. That's what they all say. Cos' you're too weak to reform that quickly on your own, or am I wrong?"
"Watch your mouth, boy," he growled.
"Why? Do I have food stuck in my teeth?" I said. He roared and charged, I grinned.

For a being so huge, his movements were incredibly fast. I struggled to keep up, sword deflecting all angles. Every millisecond had a new aggressive strike, a new kick to the face and punch to the chest.

I just had to hold it until Annabeth could clear the doorway. There was no way I was winning this fight. I just had to stay on my feet, keep him a way from her. Easier said than done.

"No seriously, I had pizza a few hours ago - or is it weeks?" I wheezed. He went for another strike to my chest, and this time it landed. I flew to the ground when it collided, wind knocked out of me from the impact. A wave of exhaustion hit me as I hit the floor, tempting me to not get back up. I mentally thanked the curse of Achilles, the blessing could hold up against Kronos' freaky sword.

Aside from the small of my back, of course. Which he knew about.

He stabbed down towards my chest, and I quickly rolled to the side, gasping for air. He raised a huge boot towards my head, probably aiming to knock me out. I rolled back again, just as his boot stamped onto the floor. I got to one knee fast, the ground shaking from the impact of his stomp.

His sword swung to take off my head, and I brought riptide up to meet it. The impact made me stumble back slightly, but I held my position. He seemed intrigued by our battle, as if it were some kind of warm up game. Anger began to slowly seep in, fully aware he was playing with me. He knew my spot, he just wanted to fight.

I pushed harder with riptide, shaking with effort. He furrowed his brow and pushed harder. His golden eyes were dark, and they darted to glance behind me. While I was effectively time wasting, holding this position was too exhausting. I suddenly jumped back onto my feet, going back. His weight became off balance with the absence of my sword. Straying from my usual fighting style, I brought my leg up into a hook quick, throwing him off balance slightly further. I swung my sword fast and hard, with my left hand.

He moved slightly, hindering the effectiveness of the hit, yet it still landed. A jagged cut had formed from top of his left arm to his elbow. Adrenaline pumping, I resisted the urge to smirk, and instead immediately ducked when his sword swung back my way. His eyes were much more fierce now, clearly annoyed from having hurt him.

He regained his posture and I stepped back, tightening the grip on my sword.

"Give up, Perseus. You will not win this fight."
I shrugged. "Nah."
"You have no hope."
