Annabeth
Exchanging a grin with Thalia and Leo, I ran forward, drakon bone clenched tightly in my hand. Hyperion stood angrily and opened his mouth. I didn't give him time to speak, I just slashed at him, and the point of my sword slashed through his cheek cleanly and he began to bleed ichor.
Thalia and I slashed at him with our swords, but he kept up with us. A few hunters tried to get some lucky shots in, but only one pierced his leg and he roared in anger. He shot fire at them, and Leo leapt in the way of the scolding beam of light.
Hyperion managed to disarm Thalia, and kick her back a few feet. She yelped and shot concentrated lightening at his face, which made him stagger back.
Leo continuously grabbed things from his tool belt, yelling "Eat nuts and bolts! And duct tape! And spanners and sockets! And screwdrivers! No wait! That was my favourite one! I did not mean to throw that!" It hit the titan in the eye and he roared in anger - he set off a shockwave which launched the both of us back, far back.
I landed next to Leo who groaned. "Ouch," he muttered.
"Leo, I need you to melt Thanatos' chains while I distract him."
"Annabeth-."
"Me and Thalia will kill him, it's fine. But the whole reason we came here was Thanatos, I need you to free him."
"Got it," Leo grumbled. Hyperion began to advance to us, but Thalia intercepted him halfway. She began to slash at him, and I watched as she launched herself over him and slashed at him in the back. Over him? Cool. She must have used the winds like Jason does, but that was definitely new.
"HEY YOU!" I yelled, trying to distract the titan and giving Leo time to slip away. I didn't need to distract though, because he was roaring in pain and anger from Thalia's blow. He was now attacking her with intensified fury.
I jumped to the fight.
We were loosing against Hyperion. He was too fast, too strong.
I looked around me to the others, frantically looking for hope. Percy was still unconscious, with a few hunters unhappily healing him - a scared, desperate feeling twisted in my gut. Jason and Piper had both become conscious, and I saw Jason give Piper a hand, pulling her to her feet. Frank was down, and Hazel seemed to be healing him, being covered by hunters, who were luckily making the monsters numbers very scarce. And finally, Leo had just reached Thanatos and was melting his chains.
With newfound energy, I attacked more viscously, my reactions on overdrive.
Suddenly, Jason and Piper arrived and began to attack the Titan along with Thalia and I. The tide began to turn.
It was four versus one. Jason and I are some of the best fighters of our generation by a large margin, and especially with Piper and Thalia's help, we were starting to beat him.
"Hyperion, stop!!" Piper screamed at him and the amount of charm speak I could sense was almost overwhelming. The titan didn't even falter.
"You think you can charm speak me!? You think you can beat ME!? I am one of the eldest titans! I have had my power enhanced by Tartarus himself! You puny demigods could NEVER-."
"Oh, shut up," Thalia said and blasted him with lightening. The titan skidded back.
"He gonna throw a tantrum now?" Thalia said.
"Probably," Piper, Jason and I all said simultaneously.
