Alex POV - two weeks later

"Momma! Wake up! Wake up! It's time to see Sawyer!"

I groan and roll over.

"Mommaaaaaa!" Charlie whines.

"Momma!" I hear Noah.

I smile and open my eyes to see them both staring at me.

"Morning, babies!" I say and reach for them.

"Good morning, momma! Time to go see Sawyer!"

I smile and nod.

I hear a groan and look to the door and see Quinn come in, "I'm hungry."

"Good morning, hungry."

She stops, "That was so lame."

I stand up and smile, "I'm going to get ready. Everybody be ready to go downstairs."

The door swings open as I head to the bathroom and Serv walks in.

"Morning, I have coffee." He says.

I smile and continue walking to the bathroom, getting ready.

I walk out and my phone rings.

I see that it's Bree and quickly pick it up.

"Bree, hey, what's wrong?"

"Sawyer is okay."

I let out a breath, "Okay, then what's up?"

"It's one of her ADHD medications, seems there's a shortage and we're having a slight issue getting it filled."

My eyes widen, "What?"

"Yeah. We're going to sort it out, but Sawyer is pretty worried about it, not that she would tell you."

"Does she have any now?"

She sighs, "She took the last one yesterday, so today should be interesting. I've never seen her not on one of her medications."

"It's not fun for anybody." I say.

"Figured that might be the case, anyways are you coming to the family event?"

I nod, "Yeah, we will be there shortly."

I hang up and sigh.

Flashback - April 2024

"I love Hawaii. Can we never leave?"

I turn and look at Serv, "We have to because we have two children that we love back in San Diego."

He smiles, "Right. And a third on the way."

He leans over and presses a kiss to my lips, "I love you and all of our kids."

"I love you-"

My phone rings and I see Jeri's picture.

I pick it up, "Hello!"

"Hello. Aloha. Whatever. We have a problem."

"What's the problem?"

"The problem, Alex, is that there's a Concerta shortage and I cannot get her prescription filled."

"What?" I ask.

"Yeah. So, I need you to have a plan b." She says.

My eyes widen, "Well. I don't really have a plan b?"

"What! I need you to! This-this is not good, Al!" She exclaims.

I rub my forehead, "Okay. I'll call her psychiatrist, see if there's something that we can do. Did you ask the pharmacy to look up other stores that may have it?"
