Alex POV - two months later

"Alright, family, we gotta go!" I call through the house.

The front door slams open, "I'M HERE! I'M SORRY THAT I'M ALMOST, BUT NOT LATE!"

I facepalm and watch as Sawyer nearly trips onto her face.

"Cutting it a little close, don't you think?" I ask.

She smiles and shrugs, "I'm not late."

"Yet. How fast were you driving on your way over here?" I ask her pointedly.

She smiles, "Nine is fine, 10 you dead, momma."

I shake my head and reach to pinch her cheek, "Stop speeding."

She groans, "I don't speed all of the time. Only when I'm almost late."

I'm about to speak when I hear feet on the steps, "Sawyer! Sawyer is here!"

I smile as Charlie launches herself into Sawyer, who picks her up and spins her around.

"Mini me! I missed you!" Sawyer says.

"I missed you too!" Charlie says and squeezes her.

Maverick jumps up and licks Charlie's hand.

I sigh out of happiness.

"Char? Did you see Quinn upstairs?" I ask.

She looks at me, "In her room, momma. I knocked, but she didn't open it."

I sigh and to head up the stairs.

"I got it, momma." Sawyer stops me.

"She's probably just feeling a lot of emotions. I know that I was." She smiles.

I pull her into me and kiss her head, "Thanks, baby."

I watch her as she walks out of the kitchen and Mav follows.

I turn back and see the family photo hanging, all of us smiling while visiting Sawyer in LA.

'Carrasco party of 6.'

Sawyer POV

"Knock knock." I wait outside of Quinn's room.

"Sawyer?" I hear.

"Yup! It's me, can I come in?"

I don't hear anything and take that as a yes so I push her door open.

Maverick runs in and jumps on Quinn's bed, digging under the covers.

I chuckle and watch as Quinn tries to swat at him, "Mav! You're crazy, get off!"

"Okay, okay, come here, boy."

He jumps off and sits while I sit on the bed.

"Talk to me, Q."

She stays silent and I go to speak when she interrupts me.

"What if I screw it up?" I hear muffled.

I click my tongue, "Then they might return you."

She throws the covers back and glares at me, "Not funny."

I smile and soften, "Q, they'd never do that."

"How do you know?" She asks.

I chuckle, "Because I've screwed up so many times and they still love me."

She looks down, "But what if I do something worse?"

I shake my head, "You won't. I've literally told momma and I quote, to fuck off."
