Trigger Warning: Abuse

Olivia's POV:

It's the beginning of April now. I wasn't surprised by how fast the month flew by. Everyone's been crazy busy with traveling for Banana Ball. We've already played so many games that I lost count on what number we're on now. It's also been a few weeks since I came home from Nashville, and I'm definitely feeling better than ever. I've just been living life, and having so much fun. We had another set of home games since we just played in another state last weekend. The guys have games Friday and Saturday this week. Today was Thursday, so we were all at the field for work. The work day flew by, and Sav and I had plans to get dinner with some of the other girls who work for the Bananas. We went back to our apartment to get ready, and then met the girls at the restaurant. I had so much fun with my girls. This was something I missed in the off season. I had Jasmine, and some other coworker friends, but nobody would ever be able to replace my girls in Banana Land. We had fun the entire night, but turned in early since we knew we had to work tomorrow.

Today was Friday, and the creative team agreed to get to the field early today. We had some new things to run in between innings, and we needed to practice them before the game. The guys usually have the field the entire time before a game so they can warm up. That's why we had to arrive early. It was hard to practice our new ideas anywhere other than the field. Sav and I rushed around all day from the moment we got to the field, until the game was over. I was tired, so I went to get my things and leave. Savanah was staying at Collin's tonight, so she lent me her car. They had their third date last weekend, and decided to make it official. I'm so happy for her, and glad everything worked out. It was late, and only a few people were left at Grayson. I headed for the parking lot. I was walking, and looking down at my phone. I didn't notice someone was hiding around the corner until they grabbed me. "Hey! Let me go!" I tried to get out of their grip, but they were stronger than I was. "Oh don't struggle Olivia. You know it's pointless." I froze when I heard the voice of who was holding me. "Kevin?" I was wondering what exactly he was doing in Savannah. "Yes it's me you moron. Who else do you think would wait around for you? You're worthless, and nobody but me wants you" I continued to try to get out of his grip. "Let me go Kevin. I'm not worthless, and any guy would be happy to be with me. You're the one who cheated on me remember?" He tightened his grip around my arms, and put his face close to mine. "I know what I did, but now I want you back. I won't take no for an answer either. Let's go." He started dragging me towards the parking lot. I was still swinging my arms around, losing my purse in the process. "Why must you be so clumsy?" Kevin asked as he bent down to pick it up.

I still had my phone in my hand, so I took this as my chance. Kevin was still bent down by my feet. I turned my legs and pulled back. I fully extended my leg and kicked him in the face as hard as I could. It was enough to get him to let go of my arms so he could grab his face. I started running back into the stadium, hoping to run into another player or staff member so they could help me. I still had my phone, so I called Dalton since he was one of the people on my favorites list. I was praying he was still at the stadium. I knew I wouldn't have a lot of time since Kevin is faster than I am. I wish I would've taken Sav's keys out of my purse and put them in my pocket before I started walking to the parking lot. If I'd done that, then I could've gone straight to her car. Dalton finally answered his phone. "Liv? I assumed you left the stadium already. What's up?" I was trying to catch my breath and talk to Dalton. "Dalt. Kevin here, in stadium. Chasing me. Trying to hurt me. Please help. By parking lot." That's all I could get out before Kevin grabbed me again.

Dalton's POV:

The plaza party had finished about an hour ago. I got cleaned up and changed while waiting for Tanner. He drove to the field today, so I had to wait for him to be ready. While I was waiting, I got a call from Liv. I was hoping everything was okay since I assumed she left the stadium already. When I first answered, she didn't say anything so I immediately got worried. It sounded like she was running or something. She started talking in short phrases. At first I couldn't understand her, but then I got the message. Somehow Kevin got into the stadium, and was trying to hurt her. The call ended with her screaming, and I instantly ran out of the locker room. I was running towards the parking lot, and thought about calling the police. I called them and explained what was happening. They said they would be at the stadium as soon as they could. I then called Tanner for backup so we could help Liv. He answered after the second ring. "Hey dude, I'm almost done getting ready. We should be able to lea-" I cut him off since this was more important. "Tanner, Kevin is back and he has Liv. Meet me by the parking lot. I already called the cops." I didn't even wait for a response from him before I hung up. I was coming up to the entrance of the stadium when I heard Liv and Kevin arguing. I poked my head out from around the corner to see him dragging her by the arms towards the entrance. The anger I felt must've kicked in because I was then running towards them. Kevin didn't see me coming, so I grabbed him and tackled him to the ground. We started rolling around throwing punches back and forth.
