Chapter 3 - Calm Before the Storm

Previously, on the Reverse 1999, Chapter 2:

We have been plunged into the midst of this world. we see the shocking moment where Y/N seemingly shoots Schneider dead in front of Vertin, She is immediately overwhelmed with shock and disbelief. Why did Y/N do it? What was his motive? Was it a mistake or was there some hidden purpose behind it? How did Schneider survive? Is she actually dead or not?

Those who were sifted by the storm will see gold and cash as food. The fact that those who have been affected by the storm cannot differentiate between food and gold, raises questions about their state of mind and their actions. Are they gone crazy? How the storm is changing their perception? It seems they throw away actual food because it is no longer valuable to them.

Their actions may not be rational or logical. But It is important to remember that they have Storm Syndrome, they were just trying to survive. The storm changed them. Some call it Pernicious Habits, it is like a tangled mess of string that is slowly but surely strangling. They are a net of bad habits that are slowing down someone's life, making it more difficult, and destroying any chance of success.

Funny how they died like an animal due to gastrointestinal problems.

Meanwhile, the government will be trying to provide assistance and treatment to those who have been affected. There will be much suffering and shortages of supplies, The decision to set up medical camps in woods to treat and care for those in need, is a welcome one and will no doubt be a life changer for many.

What they didn't expect, is sure a hell of a massacre... The unknown substance will crawl its way to the outside of their stomach, their guts will spill out all over the ground... Certain person with pale skin will have a last laugh...

REVERSE : 1999 - LOST IN TIME - CHAPTER 3:  Calm Before The Storm

In the corridor of the speakeasy, Walden. It has an eerie feeling, especially since this is Manus Vindictae place. The smell dominates the stale air in the corridor, the faint scent of mildew wafts through the air, mingled with the smell of something else. Dim lighting from occasional torches set along the hallway cast moving shadows that danced across the walls. The only sound that can be heard is the soft scuff of footsteps as they walk...

It appears that the sound of footsteps was made by two Manus Followers.  They are walking down the hallway, wearing a strange manus mask. A black slime emanating from their eyes... They are sure to be so hideously ugly that every time they walk past someone, they scream and flee. Their appearance leaves people terrified of them in terror. But after all, they are blind followers, desperate to save themselves from the storm.

These Manus followers seem to have strayed from the right path. They seem to be seeking refuge and salvation but at what cost will they obtain such salvation? Seriously, there is no salvation coming from Manus at all. The organization is nothing but a mere fraud, so it's ridiculous that anyone would go to it for anything.
