INSERT SOUNDTRACK: (Sotheby's Mansion | Reverse: 1999)
What a world we live in now. Every day things seem to get more and more interesting. Sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse. But one thing is for sure, it's never boring. We face new challenges and new opportunities every day, and it's up to us to seize them and make the most of them. So, as they say, who knows what tomorrow will bring? That's right, folks. All of us, around the world, experience pure bliss in our day-to-day activities. We were talking to the dog, committing a crime and breaking the rules, and just living the day and it was all interesting! Fascinating! Incredible! What a time to be alive!
Reminiscing is something we all do from time to time. Remember those good old days? The ones where you were young and free, filled with optimism, dreams, and happiness? The days when your worries were minimal and your problems had easy solutions. The ones where you spent time with your friends, sharing stories and creating memories you'll never forget. Oh! It's funny how our memories can trick us into thinking that everything was better back then. Maybe it was, or maybe it wasn't. But who knows? Let's take a nice trip down memory lane and remember all the good times we had and all the laughs we shared.
Those were the days, weren't they? When we were young and wild and innocent and thought we could take on the world. Now we're older and wiser and maybe a little bit grumpier or softer but our memories... they're still just as sweet. The world has changed so much since then and so have we. So much time has passed and yet, so many things are still familiar. All we can do now is reminiscence and let the nostalgia take over...
Who knew time travel could be so much fun? Who wouldn't love to go back in time and see how things were done in the past? Think of all the great events that we could witness firsthand! We could watch as the ancient Greek philosophers debate the mysteries of the universe, or we could be in the room where it happened during the drafting of the Declaration of Independence!
Sounds tempting right? Well, perhaps time travel isn't so bad after all. Sure, you might end up creating all sorts of paradoxes and messing up the entire space-time continuum, but hey, at least you can get things right this time around! Who knows, you might even get a second chance at true love or fulfill some bucket-list fantasies you've always wanted to try. Who's in?
Oh, never mind, forget all that! Perhaps I'm really a babbling fool after all. Who was I trying to kid? Time travel? Really? What a joke. Who in their right mind would actually believe that one could simply rewind the clock and redo past events? What was I thinking? Never mind what I said before, it was all a waste of time and energy. I guess I didn't have much to offer after all, except for a useless, incoherent rambling. Perhaps I should keep my thoughts to myself.
Do you know what really matters the most? It's the present moment, not some distant future. Yeah, right, as if that wasn't already crystal clear. Who are you trying to fool? Words are cheap. Words are meaningless, you have to back up those words with actions. Sure, we all want to live in a world where there are no wars, where people are not killing each other, and where we don't have to worry about our own safety. That's not how things work and that's not how they'll ever work. I know you want that perfect, peaceful world as much as anyone else does. But that's not how things are right now. If you want to change things, you need to start actually doing something. And what you're doing right now is not going to cut it.
