As time ticks along, and we move further out of sight of the past, we begin to forget. The memory of what once was becomes increasingly blurred, almost invisible, and distant. But we don't completely lose these precious memories, no we don't. They still exist within us, they may have faded, but they have not disappeared. Even if it's just for a brief moment, the glimpse of the past can still be seen, if we try hard enough.

It is never too far away. A painful yet familiar feeling lingers as the glimpse of the past slowly comes into view. The memories, once thought to be buried under layers of time, gradually resurface, accompanied by a sharp and agonizing stab of hurt. It seems that, even after all these years, the pain of the past still remains. even if for a short period of time.

You can't always keep holding onto the past dawns, a sense of sadness and longing washes over you like a wave. But at the same time, a sense of relief and hope fills you. Perhaps, this is the time to make peace with the past and look towards a brighter future. And perhaps, it's time to move forward. Maybe it is time to let it go.

Perhaps it is time to let the pain go. To let go of the past, to look towards the future with hope and optimism. The pain may be bitter, but freedom might just be sweeter. Perhaps there is a happy ending, perhaps not. In our world, it may seem like a distant dream, a fool's hope. Perhaps the outcome of our stories may not be something we wish for.

Each of us has our very own story, and while not everyone might get a happy ending, some may not even make it to the end at all. But, at the end of the day, isn't that what a story is all about? Whether it's a comedy, a tragedy or something in between, each one of us leaves our impact and mark on the world. And even if our stories might be different, there will always be those that we can relate to. As long as we live and breathe, we must never forget that each and every one of us has a story, each story unique, each story different.

We may be separated by the lands, not in sight, but we all share a common bond: the afflatus of the arcane. Some are from different lands, with different types of afflatus, such as Beast, Plant, Star, and Mineral. But, in the end, we are all united in the search for knowledge and understanding. In the end, we all want to do one thing; to make the world a better place. Regardless of where we come from, or what type of affliction we wield, we all share a desire to better ourselves and to help those in need.

The storm is just the storm, we must not let it define us or our future. It is easy to get caught up in the moment, to let the storm dominate our lives.  What is important, instead, is how we choose to respond to the storm. Storms are temporary, and they will pass. Once the storm blows over, we shall once more see the light of day.

"Abandon me, oh thou fair one..."

"Forget me for we shall not meet again..."

"My heart was but a plaything for you..."
