3rd POV

That day, Atsushi went to talk to Fukuzawa about this alliance, trusting his word that this was the best and only option left.

Since everything was peaceful and quiet, it was safe to go back to the Agency. Dazai was lazing around with his ass in the air as he laid his head comfortably on (Y/n)'s lap. "I really don't feel like working."

"We'll get to work real soon after the meeting is finished." (Y/n) reminds, planning to kill the bastard that dares to use Q as a weapon.

"Yeah, but still." Dazai groaned.

(Y/n) giggled a bit by his laziness before remembering what happened yesterday. "Hey, Dazai..."

"Hm?"

"About yesterday, can you forget it ever happened and don't tell the others?" She asked, hoping that Dazai would understand why.

"Those hallucinations weren't real though." He told her.

"Yeah, but...they felt so real and it felt like the people I cared for wished I was dead! Including Oda and the kids...it felt like they were right, it should've been me that died that day."

Dazai stood up and placed his hand on her cheek, making her face him. "Odasaku and the kids would never say that to you and you know it. It hurts to hear it, but you have to remember that none of it was real. Q's ability tried to bring you down. I promise I won't tell the others, but you have to tell me who you saw and what happened during that time after this whole conflict is over, okay?"

"Okay..." She agreed.

"I'm glad. I was so worried for you because I thought you would've at least killed hundreds during that time."

"Wow." She deadpanned, making Dazai realize he ruined the sweet moment.

"Yeah, but you should've seen Kunikida-kun, he was bawling like a baby when he was affected!" Dazai brought up, laughing at Kunikida being chained up and crying.

"What?! Kunikida-san was affected?!"

"Are you two gonna keep talking about me the whole morning." Speak of the devil, Kunikida appeared behind Dazai, annoyed that he was brought up in their conversation.

Dazai pretended to be tired by laying his head on (Y/n)'s lap again. "Any other time I'd be up for having this conversation with you, not now please."

"What happened to the energetic young hero who just helped save this town from the brink of destruction?"

Dazai pulled (Y/n) close to his face, "The boss has us lined up for this new job, and I don't wanna."

"Don't worry, Dazai, it'll be over soon if it goes well and if he doesn't speak to us." (Y/n) assured, knowing how Dazai must've been feeling about this.

"Is that the same one Atsushi and the boss were talking about yesterday?" Kunikida questioned, wondering if it was the same thing as the conversation Dazai was having with (Y/n).

"Correct." Fukuzawa appeared, scaring Kunikida by how quiet he was.

"Good morning, sir." Kunikida greeted.

Dazai sat up straight as he and (Y/n) faced Fukuzawa. "Dazai, (Y/n), what's the status of the meeting with the Port Mafia?"

Kunikida was concerned, staring at them in confusion by what they meant about the Port Mafia.

"We made the arrangements."

"Do you think their boss will come?"

"Knowing him, it's obvious that he would. It's the perfect opportunity for him to kill you, after all. But I won't let him." (Y/n) adds.
