In the morning, Sarah got a red dress in a package with a card saying. "Get ready. You will be picked at seven." She wonders if Robert has come back. But why the red dress? The note had Valerie's signature at the end and Sarah couldn't help but wonder what it meant.

Sarah was ready with the heels, jewelry, and dress at sharp seven. A bag had matched her dress and she slipped her cell phone in it. It came to play great how her roommates weren't there. The dress was backless and had a suitable slit on her right leg. It didn't show any cleavage but perfectly hugged her physique.

At seven a chauffeur picked her. She asked him twice where are they going but he didn't reply like a robot until he pulled in front of a hotel. "I won't get out until I talk to Valerie." This made that man dial for someone and hand her the phone.

"Sarah! My favorite girl! Are you here already? I am waiting for you."

"Why are we here?" Sarah asked,

"To attend our company's annual party. Won't it be fun? Robert used to bring his mistress to his important events because he couldn't afford to miss her. Even though he had his wife by his side." Valerie said the last part with much excitement as if she was telling the story of a next hit film.

Sarah winced at her cunning plan. It seems Valerie wanted to trap her husband badly.

"Why?..." Sarah was about to protest when Valerie cut her off. "See you in the party."

The chauffeur took her into a restaurant in the hotel that didn't have a more than few guests. It didn't look like the party but the man took the chair out for her and Sarah took the seat. She looked at her left to notice a mirror and stared at her beautiful necklace. Something Robert's mistress could certainly afford.

The man left and only a few moments later Robert came from ahead. But the thing that struck Sarah most was how once he looked at her he didn't look away. She wonders if he has recognized her from their meeting in her cafe and looks away. She looked at him again when he took a seat on a table to her right. Robert still had his eyes on her. But then he broke the stare and seemed busy on his phone.

Sarah's phone rang at the exact time and Sarah gulped picking it up.

"Hello,"

"He is handsome. Isn't he?" Of course, it was Valerie. Sarah closed her eyes irritated but kept her calm. "He is your husband. How can you..."

"Do I really look like I want him?"

"Valerie, you said it was a party?" But without replying to her Valerie cut her call and Sarah couldn't help but say, "Hello?" But then slowly turned to look at Robert who too got his phone down before standing up. A man came to him and they shook hands. It seems he was waiting for someone but Valerie was making it look like something else.

Only five minutes later after signing a file, Robert took his leave and Sarah got a message. "Follow him," Sarah shivered wondering what Valerie was up to. But when she didn't follow the order the same chauffeur from before appeared and told her.

"Please, you have to follow him." Sarah felt trouble with the stare of that man and quickly got up and followed Robert. She found him waiting for the elevator and hesitated. Once he looked at her and waited for her to get in she had to follow him.

Sarah expected him to not say a word but was taken aback when he said right away, "You know Valerie, don't you?" The elevator door closed at the same time.

Sarah didn't know how to answer him. "Excuse me?" She could only manage. Looking into his eyes got her power even more and she looked away instantly.

"That necklace. It's a special edition." Sarah's whole body was shivering. She didn't know what he said. She was too scared. And, it was too apparent that Robert had to ask. "Are you ok?"
