Daddy's Home

Zaya woke up and ran to her parents room 

She jumped on Zac waking him up 

Zaya: Daddy your home 

Zac: Awe good morning princess shhh we have to be quiet so mommy can sleep 

Zaya: Yes cause mommy is really tired 

Zac slid out of bed and left the room closing the door behind them 

Zac: Daddy sorry I  couldn't pick you up from school yesterday my flight got cancelled 

Zaya: It's okay I got to spend time with Auntie Gabby and Aiden she took us to get ice cream 

Zac: Daddy is going to make it up to you so you let me know what you want to do and it will be a date just me and you

Zaya: What about mommy she missed you too she was crying last night 

Zac: I will make it up to mommy too

Zaya: Good you can start by making her breakfast 

Zac: Lets do it 

Zac looked at Zaya and seen a mini Fatima, it made him feel bad that Zaya was growing up and she wasn't a baby anymore. Zaya is at the age now where they soak up everything and they remember when you are not present. He hated that she seen her mom cry and even the thought of Fatima crying didn't sit right with Zac.

Zac needed to get his shit together and made sure he took care of home and his family first 

While Zac and Zaya were making breakfast he had orders a dozen roses delivered to the house. Even though roses and breakfast wouldn't make up for his absence it was a start.

Zac: You got it smelling good over there mini chef in training 

Zaya smiled 

Zaya: Thank you 

Fatima rolled over and seen that Zac's side of the bed was messy. He must have finally made it home last night 

Last night was the first night that she actually slept through the night without waking up and was able to sleep in a little. She needed that rest her mind be on go 24/7 

She stretched across the bed pulling the covers over her naked exposed body.  She tend to sleep naked from time to time fresh out the tub she liked the way fresh new sheets felt on her skin.

Zac made Zaya a plate and turn on cartoons to occupy her while he catered to Fatima 

Zac: Daddy will be back make sure you eat all your food 

Zaya: Okay Daddy 

Zac carried the tray of food and roses to the room, he thought Fatima would still be sleep but she was wide awake 

Zac: Good Morning gorgeous we made you breakfast and got you some roses 

Fatima: Thank you where's Zaya 

Zac: She's eating her breakfast and watching cartoons 

Fatima sitting up in bed Zac gave her the tray and reached in for a kiss

It was quiet for a second then Zac broke the ice 

Zac: I do want to apologize I didn't see it from your point of view and you are totally right. I have been absent and it's not only affecting you it's affecting our daughter. And it's not fair that you have to do it all by yourself. I will do better with planning and working out my work schedule to better coincide with yours
