*A/N - When Y/N and Anakin reach the meadows, the song playing in my mind is Lizzy McAlpine's song "Ceilings". I decided to write some of this chapter from Anakin's perspective, which I hope you enjoy. Let me know what you thinking of their evolving relationship.(:*

Anakin's POV:

"That was more than half an hour." Y/N scolded me as I walked into Padme's dining room.

"And yet, you still saved me something to eat." I grinned, pointing out the plate she had made for me filled with pancakes, bacon, and eggs. "It looks delicious by the way. Thanks, Y/N."

She gave me an annoyed look. "It's going to be a long day and I didn't want you complaining that you were hungry." She excused her actions.

I sat down in the dining room table in the spot Y/N had placed my plate on. It was located all the way across the long dining room table from where she was sitting, and I couldn't help but think it was on purpose. Just to spite her, I decided to pick up my plate and move to the spot next to hers.

She exhaled sharply as I took my seat. "What are you doing?"

"Eating?" I played dumb.

Her nostrils flared, much to my amusement. I loved seeing her worked up. "What was wrong with the spot over there?" She pointed to my original seat.

"I just like it better over here." I shrugged, ignoring her clear distaste for my presence.

"Fine." She dropped her line of questioning there with an exhausted look and focused on finishing the remainder of the food on her plate.

"So what would you like to do today, Senator." I winked as I playfully called Y/N by her pretend alias. We had finished our food and were cleaning up our dishes in the kitchen. Padme had offered her staff to cook and clean for us, but we didn't want to put any civilians in the potential line of fire considering we were trying to coax out the assassin.

Y/N laughed at my joke. "Well, my dear Jedi protector, I would like to go to the Meadows today. It is one of my favourite places after all." She played along, answering as if she was actually Padme.

"As you wish, Milady." I grinned.

"Plus, as much as I don't want to get attacked again, I think we should go out so there's more of a chance of me being spotted." Y/N said, reverting back to responding as her own self. "The greater people that know the Senator is here, the greater chance we get of coaxing out the assassin and ending this mission."

For some reason the idea of this mission ending made me feel upset. "We just got here, Y/N." I heard myself say.

"Yes, and I know we're both dying to end this mission and get out of each other's hair." She said casually, not looking at me as she continued to wash the dishes in front of us. She seemed to oblivious to the perturbance in my voice earlier.

"Right." I said, sounding more hurt than I wanted.

She looked up at me then, noticing my discontentment. "Did I say something wrong? I thought you would be excited at the possibility of ending this mission."
