*A/N - I am currently #1 in #Anakinskywalker (as of June 18th when I wrote this) which I never thought would happen! I also achieved #1 a while back in #Anakin and for some bizarre reason also in #padmeamidala 😂 I am so grateful and thankful for all of my readers for making this happen❤️ the craziest part to me is being up in the ranks with some of my favourite stories/authors.

I love that more people are commenting on my story! I love hearing what you all think

Y/N's POV:

Dream Sequence Begins...

As my eyes opened, I took in my unfamiliar surroundings. I was in some sort of tent. I could hear the outside sounds of woodland creatures in the night as the outdoor fireflies illuminated the canopy-shaped canvas walls around me. I then heard some sort of rustling coming from my sleeping bag, and I realized I wasn't alone. A strong masculine pair of arms were wrapped around my waist, pulling me back towards a warm bare chest. I hadn't looked to see who it was, and yet I felt so calm, not at all threatened or scared by whoever the man was. I trusted him.

"Are you alright, my love?" His deep voice called out to me as he lightly stroked my back.

Anakin.

I shifted back into the sheets surrounding us, turning to face him.

"I'm alright, Ani. Just admiring the fireflies." I assured him softly, nuzzling my forehead against his own as our noses grazed each other. "I'm sorry, I hadn't meant to wake you." I heard myself apologize.

I lightly stroked the side of his face as if it were the most natural thing in the world, running my fingers through his soft dark blonde locks, to which he let out of tranquil exhale in response. They appeared longer than they were now. The length suited him, and I thought to myself that he was the most handsome I'd ever seen him.

My eyes roamed his face more, analyzing his features. He looked to be a little older too, and most shockingly, he had a scarred line running from his forehead above his brow bone down just below his eye. I don't know why my mind had imagined him like this— but I definitely wasn't complaining. I even thought his scar made him look sexier.

Anakin took my hand in his own, watching as he interlocked his fingers with mine. Something seemed to be on his mind. "No need to apologize, Angel. I was already awake." He whispered soothingly. "I've had some things on my mind." He said after a long pause, looking away from my eye-line.

"Is something wrong?" I asked, my voice laced with concern as my eyes bore intently at him, hoping for him to return my gaze.

His eyes shot back up to mine immediately as he noticed the worry in my voice. "No no, nothing is wrong." He insisted, although he still seemed to be hesitating to talk to me about something.
