Anakin and I received urgent orders from Grand Master Yoda to meet him at the temple to discuss a sensitive top-secret mission. Apparently it was too risky to discuss even over the holopad.

Jaina had driven us to the club, so Master Obi-Wan offered me a ride with him and Anakin. The idea clearly upset Anakin, who practically glared his Master to death when he first suggested it, but Obi-Wan pretended not to notice.

Anakin insisted on driving. Come to think of it now, on every one of our missions together he's never not been the one behind the steering wheel. I'm sure he's like that with Obi-Wan too. I'll remind myself to make sure I am first to the driver's seat next time we're on a shuttle together.

I sat beside Obi-Wan, intentionally sitting farthest away from stupid Skywalker.

He drove incredibly fast, gripping the steering wheel so hard that his knuckles turned white. His expression was determined and on-edge, as if he couldn't stand to be in the same place as me for a second longer. The feeling was mutual.

"Easy, Anakin. We're not going to get there any sooner if we're dead." His Master warned him. I had never seen the older Jedi look so at unease. He held onto the speeder for dear life, watching in horror as Anakin recklessly weaved through traffic.

"Sorry, Master

"Sorry, Master. Just trying to get us to the temple and all out of this speeder as fast as I can. Master Yoda did say it was urgent." Anakin replied thin-lipped, no doubt because of me. While the Grand Master had said it was urgent, I knew for a fact his speeding was because of me.

As we approached the temple, Anakin handed the controls to his master. "If you'll excuse me." He said, and before JUMPING OUT OF THE SPEEDER. He hated being in the same space with me so much that he couldn't even wait another minute for the landing before getting out.

Obi-Wan didn't even flinch, instead only sighing

Obi-Wan didn't even flinch, instead only sighing. "I hate it when he does that."

"So he does that often?" I stared at him in disbelief.

Obi-Wan's expression looked pained. "More than I'd like to admit."

Anakin was already in the Council chamber with Master Yoda when Obi-Wan and I arrived. I glared at him for earlier which gained me a cocky smirk back.
