You had known the Miya twins for a long time. Longer than you wished you did sometimes. They were the average siblings who fought all the time, and you typically had to reign them in, even when you were in elementary school. You had been neighbours with the twins.

"Osamu, Atsumu!" You had screamed one day in elementary. The twins were walking out the door, but they looked at you when they heard your voice.

"Ah! Y/n!" Atsumu called, waving toward you.

   "What's up?" Osamu asked.

"Where are you going? I wanted to play today!" You said as you finally caught up to them.

"We decided to go play volleyball!" Atsumu said. "It looks so cool!"

"What?" You whined. "But what am I supposed to do?"

   "Come with us!" Atsumu said.

"Eh? But I don't know how to play!" You said.

"It'll be okay, Y/n," Osamu said. "You should come with us."

You thought about it for two seconds, but the idea of playing with your friends sounded too good to pass up. "Okay! Let me go tell my mom!" You sprinted back to your house and told your mother. She seemed okay with the idea. You grabbed anything you thought you'd need, and made it back out to the twins.

"Let's go!" Atsumu said. You marched along behind the brothers. When you got there, you found that you were rather tall compared to several of the other kids. You were taller than Atsumu and Osamu by only a little, but it seemed to work out in your favour in the sport.

That first practice hooked you. Volleyball was more fun than you had ever imagined for it to be. You wanted to do everything. The more you were in the game the better. The twins seemed to have felt the same. The three of you practiced all the time. Every second you weren't playing on your elementary team, the three of you were in a backyard or park practicing. Atsumu had quickly decided to be setter. You were much less decisive. But it worked in your favour, as you became good at whatever you were needed at.

You and the twins got closer every day. Though, that being said, you definitely had a favourite twin. You and Osamu were much closer than you and Atsumu. You found Atsumu very...irritating sometimes. And while you were friends, he took a lot of energy to deal with. While you had a lot of energy, Atsumu drained you. So you and Osamu found yourselves conversing more.

"Hey, Samu," you said around your last day of elementary. "How do you live with Tsumu? He's so...loud."

Osamu shrugged. "It's not that bad, when you get used to it."

"I mean, it's not like I hate him," you said. "But Tsumu yells a lot. It gets worse when you start yelling back."

"Ah...sorry," he said. You didn't have any siblings, so it wasn't like you knew how siblings were supposed to act. Your only reference was the twins. You assumed it was normal, but that didn't mean you liked being the mediator. The twins mother had off handedly asked you. It embarrassed them, but it was more of a nuisance to you.

"You don't have to apologise."

"N/n! Samu! Come play with me!"

"Let's go, Samu. We shouldn't keep Tsumu waiting."

He nodded, and the three of you went to practice.
