Your younger brother was big on volleyball, even though you were an arts person. You had tried your best to get him to be at least a little into your hobbies, but Kei was a very closed off person. He would hardly even admit to the fact that he enjoyed it. You knew he had to, since it was the only thing he had ever been mildly passionate about. You wanted him to hang out with you, since you were only two years older than him. Akiteru had similar feelings to you, since you were only three years younger than him.

Due to both of your brothers playing volleyball, you knew enough to understand what they would talk about, though you admittedly weren't too interested. You were a painter, as well as a theatre kid. Neither of your brothers quite understood why, but they didn't push it.

"Y/n," Kei called, standing at the door to your room.

"Yeah?"

"Do you know anyone on the team?" He asked.

You shrugged. "No. Not by name anyway. All of my friends are the people in my clubs. I wouldn't worry about it. Karasuno's not a bad school." You were in your third year, and Kei was starting his first soon. "You've got Tadashi~kun with you, right?"

Kei nodded. "I was just curious."

"It's fine. I don't really care," you said. "You're in the advanced class, right?" Kei nodded. "I'm sure you'll do great!"

"I wasn't worried," Kei told you.

You rolled your eyes. "You're going into high school, Kei. I'm sure you're at least a little nervous," you said, leaning back in your chair.

Kei sighed deeply. "I'm fine, Y/n."

"Sure, sure," you said. "Have fun with your club, Kei. Make sure you tell me about it, alright?"

   "Yeah."

You, as per usual, got to your class extremely early. You would get there early to talk with your friends about shows or just whatever came to mind. "Y/n!"

You turned around to see your friend, Sakura, walking up to you with a smile.

"Hey, Sakura," you said, waving your hand a little. "How was your summer?"

"It was fine," she said. "My community theatre didn't have as many people this year. I heard Ichinose~san and his family went on a vacation or something this year."

"Was the show good at least?"

"Actually, yeah. Tech managed to go without an accident the entire time. They weren't even sure how it happened."

   "Not even during tech week?"

   "Nope."

"If only," you muttered. "My community theatre crew has a major accident like two days before every show. Two years ago? We had the entire wall basically snap in half. We almost had to help them."

   "And that happens every time?"

"I mean, more or less," you said, placing your chin in your palm. "Normally, they handle it, though." Sakura made a small noise of understanding. Every theatre had their issues, both during tech week and actual performances. Your theatre was fairly accident prone, even among others. Sakura lived far enough away she had to go to a different, much more lucky theatre.

The two of you had kept talking for a while, but you stopped when you saw someone walk in. You had probably seen this guy around before, but you couldn't place his face if you had. One thing was for sure, he was pretty.
