You often had to tutor kids in your grade. You were top of your class, so when people needed help with their school work, they would come to you. Most of the time, you didn't know them. They heard through the grape vine that you were and amazing student and just as good of a teacher.

You weren't quite as sold on the teacher part, but you never really argued with people over it.

You were in the same class as a couple people from the volleyball team. How you knew? Two boys from the volleyball team demanded a classmate help them or they couldn't make it to this camp they had to go to. You frankly didn't care, so you stayed out of it. Or at least, you did for a couple days.

The two morons had gone off to the other college prep class for help, but evidently one of the boys after a while decided he wanted more help. It was a boy who was a little shorter than you with fiery red hair and golden brown eyes. He looked a little embarrassed to be standing in front of your desk. The other darker haired boy wasn't with him this time. You glanced at him through your hair and kept scribbling random drawings in the margins of your notebook.

   "Uh...are you L/n Y/n?" He asked.

"Yup. What's up?" You asked him without looking at him. He fidgeted with his hands a little.

"Well...I heard you were a really good teacher..."

   "So?"

"Well...I have a volleyball camp that I really want to go to," he explained. You finally stopped scribbling and looked up at him, spinning your pencil around in your hand. "And there's someone else who I knew who's been helping me and the other guy I've been with, but they way she's helping me just kind of...hasn't been working. Plus she has Kageyama~kun to worry about. So I was wondering if you could help me a little."

"Why does it matter?" You asked. "I have a lot of people asking for my help since it's exam season."

"Oh! Um...I mean, I just have to make it to camp. It's over in Tokyo, and I have a bunch of friends on one of the teams we would see there! So, I'd really appreciate if you help me study!" The boy snapped down into a ninety degree bow before you could say anything. Which you wouldn't have recommended in the small space you had between desks.

Because his forehead slammed straight into yours.

"Ow!" The two of you shouted. Your hands flew to your forehead, and Hinata hit an empty chair as he stepped back.

"Ah! I'm so sorry!" He shouted. "I—uh—I really didn't mean to!"

"It's...okay," you said. "It didn't hurt that bad."

It, actually, kind of had. This kid's head must have been made of steel or some shit, holy hell. You didn't want to make him feel bad or anything though, so you just dismissed it.

"So...Will you help me?" He asked slowly. He seemed a little nervous.

You closed your eyes in thought. You saw no reason to help this kid, especially since he had a friend who could help him. And that blonde kid that was a few rows over from you was on his team, so he had other people who could help him. But, then again, you'd also helped people for much less.

"I always ask for a favour when people ask me to tutor them. Are you okay with that?" You asked.

His eyes lit up at your question. He nodded vigorously. "Yeah! What do you need?"

"Treat me to Zundamochi, okay?" You said with a smile.

"Sure!" He said. He paused for a minute when he processed what you said. "Zundamochi?"
