"Candice, you look great," Mona said walking beside me in the school halls.

"Thanks, Mona. So, I heard Noel is having a party tonight," I said.

"He'll invite us."

"Well aren't you confident."

"He's into you. We will be invited," she said. "Speak of the devil. See you later."

"Kahn, how have you been?" I asked as he put an arm around my shoulders.

"Great, you?" He asked as we walked to my locker.

"I would be so much better if you invited me to your party tonight. Please?" I asked leaning against my locker and using a puppy dog face.

"Of course, but on one condition."

"What?"

"We play spin the bottle," he smirked.

"Deal. But you won't be able to handle these lips."

"I bet I can."

"Dream on. See you later," I said wading towards my car.

"Candy!" Someone yelled behind me.

"Yeah. Hey Spence," I said when she got caught up.

"We need to talk about A. Tonight."

"I can't. I got us all invited to Noels party tonight," I said.

"Candice-"

"Spencer, we all need this. Please say you'll come."

"Fine. But there's something you should know."

"What?"

"I'm pretty sure Noel's A."

"Wow, you just hate when I'm happy don't you. See you later Spencer," I said getting Ito my car and driving away.

I drove in silence towards the grille, when I decided to instead go to Jason's house. I have to talk to him.

No one answered the door when I knocked. When I turned around I heard the door open.

"Candice?" Jason asked.

"Why didn't you say goodbye? It's stupid I know, but why?" I asked facing him.

"What-"

"You know what I'm talking about. When you and your family left me. As if I was nothing to you guys," I said as tears slowly formed in my eyes.

"Candice, come in-"

"No, just tell me why you didn't say goodbye."

"Bye Jason," a girl said walking out his house.

I quickly wiped my tears and smiled towards her.

"Sorry, I didn't know you had company. Nice to meet you. See you later Jason," I said then walked towards my car quickly.

When I got in I wiped my face and calmed down. God, I'm so stupid. Why do I need to know why he left without saying goodbye so much?

As I was about to start driving, my phone went off. Of course, I immediately regretted it.

Aw, poor poor Candice. You poor pathetic slut. You want answers. Go into Noel's attic tonight and that's where you will find answers.
