Before Jason could respond, I fell to the ground and hit my head. Which instantly made me fall into unconsciousness.

Kids were running around as a woman was videotaping them. They were all laughing and having fun. Nobody wanted the day to end.

After blowing out candles on the cake, it was time to eat and open presents. They all couldn't stop smiling.

"Happy birthday Charlie!" The children screamed.

Waking up, I see I'm back in Jason's bed, only to have him next to me. While he slept, I snook out and walked towards my house silently.

The silence was deafening and the normally short walk felt like a million years.

When I eventually made it home, Spencer was there and she was a mess. We walked in and I made coffee giving her a cup.

"He hates me," she whispered as a few tears trickled down her face. "He could lose his job because of what happened."

"Spence, he could never hate you. That boy loves you so much. Toby's just hurt. I don't think he understands why didn't tell him how hard it is to be back."

"I don't think I can stand another person turning their back on me because of Charles."

"You'll never be alone. I will always have your back."

"I love you," she smiled.

"I know," I smiled.

We both laughed and hugged. Soon after we fell asleep on the couch.

Waking up the next morning, my phone goes off and quickly read it.

Ding dong the bitch is dead. Which bitch? You'll have to wait and see. Good fight though.

I killed someone? I pulled up my tank top and saw a scar on my side. There was dry blood and Spencer woke up and gasped.

"What happened?" She asked as I put my shirt down.

"I don't know. Read the text," I said handing her my phone.

"There's no way Charles would've had you kill someone."

"You don't know that. For all we know, the police are on their way to arrest me right now," I said.

"But, there's also the possibility that you didn't do anything. Candice, don't go to the worst case scenarios."

"We know by now that we have to with Charles," I said.

She sighed and we waited in silence for the next thing to happen.
