"Honey, the school feels like you and your friends going to prom would be against what their policies," my mom said as I sat at the bar in the kitchen.

"I can't even go to my own prom?" I questioned.

"I'm sorry honey."

"I've been through hell at that school, and I'm not allowed to go to prom? That's bullshit!"

"Watch your mouth!" My mother scolded. "Candice, listen-"

"I'm not going to school," I told her grabbing my purse and keys. "If I can't go to my own prom, why would I go to learn?"

I left the house quickly after that and went to the brew to get some coffee. When I sit at my table, someone slips me a note, but walks to fast for me to see who it was.

Opening the note, I gasped.

I'll be at the prom. We should meet face to face. Don't go and Jason will be mine.

Charles

I race out of there and to my car hyperventilating. I try to call some people but they don't answer, so I leave Rosewood and dial a number I haven't talked to in a while.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Cece. I'm leaving Rosewood and going to Philly. Wanna come?"

"Sure. On my way."

After spending some time with Cece, I go to Spencer's and get ready for our "prom".

When no one noticed Alison wasn't here, I quickly slipped out of the barn and to my car immediately going to the high school.

Walking in the dance, I quickly searched for Alison. While I went to look around, someone grabbed me from behind covering my mouth and dragged me through the maze almost reaching the door, while I struggled against their grasp.

The person let me go right in front of the doors, and had their back to me. I caught my breath as they stood still facing away from me.

"What made you hate me so much?" I asked standing straight.

"I don't hate you, Candy," Charles said turning to face me.

"Cece?!" I exclaimed.

"We're best friends remember?"
