I couldn't feel anything. My hands, my legs, they were all numb. Like they didn't exist.

My surroundings didn't exist.

I must have forgotten to breath, for I no longer heard my breath leave my lips. My heart had stopped beating, for a no longer heard the beats.

I was in a void. But this void has colours. Colours of blue and green.

Like the strange pair of eyes before me.

"Y-" No words left my lips as my eyes remained fixated on the snowy cat the didn't seem like it was really there, yet it was. Those strange coloured eyes stared at me without blinking, and the more it continued, the more I begin hyperventilating because what the heck was going on?

"You are not real." I finally breathed out, the whispers being barely audible but I knew the cat heard it given the pin drop silence around us. As if my words surprise it, the cat tilted it's head sideways. "Then what is, dearest?"

Every time the cat spoke it startled me like the first time, I mean why wouldn't it? That's a frickin cat talking to me! The horror in my face was evident and when I made no move to reply, the cat sighed, like literally sighed before hoping around the blurred room.

"You can see me, can you not? You can hear me as well. Anything you see and hear is obviously real, wouldn't you agree dearest?"

"C-cats don't talk."

"That's why I'm not a cat."

"What?"

The cat didn't say anything after that. It just leisurely walked on before disappearing behind the book shelf. For a whole minute, the room was basked in silence but I dared not look away from the spot it disappeared.

Where...where did it go? Did it leave? No way.

But then where-

As if to answer my question something moved behind the book shelf, and what reemerged had my breath knocked out of me as I literally landed butt first on the floor.

Now before me was a gigantic whale, white as snow, swimming across the room. It moaned out like a normal whale, but I knew better. This was no ordinary whale.

"I told you." Come the deep voice of the whale. "I'm no cat."

So saying, it stopped right in front of me, it's massive head face to face with me, and only then did I notice the multi colored eyes it had like the cat.

"You're an entity."

"Excellent."

"Did you...did you bring me here?"

"What do you think?"

"W-why?" I couldn't help the crack in my voice. Knowing I was finally meeting the object behind this ness was making me feel overwhelmed and I had no idea how to deal with this flood of emotions.

The whale disappeared behind the shelf yet again, only to reemerge as a cat, licking it paw carelessly. "I thought you were smarter than this."

"What?" The pure look if confusion had the cat looking back at me, the intensity of it's gaze making me take a step back. Why was this small creature so domineering?

Because it wasn't what it looked like after all.

"After everything you've been through, travelling back in time, ending up in your grand mother's body of all, one of the only people alive to know the truth, I thought you would have already guessed why I sent you here. I see I was wrong."

The cat seemed completely calm and collected despite the visible irritation in his words, however I didn't let that get to me. If anything, it only made me mad. With a glare set at the cat, I said. "You brought me here. You threw me in an entirely different world, with no one that I know, know clue as to why I'm here or how I came to be here, and you expect me to be smart enough to guess everything?"
